Root Tools is the ultimate tool for unlocked/rooted devices. Now that you are rooted you can customize your phone to the max simply with this app. Increase performance or change fonts and boot animations with a single click. Remove system or data apps easily and more.

Root Tools allows you to customize the app and make it your own. You can change the entire look of it through theme settings in the main settings menu. Through settings you can also manage backups, access android hidden testing menu, enable or disable your boot animation, turn on/off camera shutter sounds and configure sysctl.conf to maximize performance for more advanced users.
Root Tools is a fun project I started for custom ROMs and is turning into much more. I hope you enjoy the app :)

Troubleshooting:
Boot animation install problems??
1) Try going into Root Tools settings (click menu > settings) and set the install location manually. (most phones use "/data/local/bootanimation.zip" or "/system/media/bootanimation.zip"
2) You may have a bad download. Try removing the file on your sdcard in the roottools folder.
Remember: if something isn't working email me first before rating.

Ringer Genie is very useful during meetings, school, religious gatherings or any event where you want your phone to be in silent or vibrate mode. The phone automatically turns back to the normal mode after the event/meeting is over. All your events are synched from your calendar and displayed on the Events screen. You can associate a Ringer Profile to these events and even delete events from this screen. What is more, you can allow family members or close friends to call you during these meetings. They will get a SMS telling them that you are busy and your meeting end time. If you are in a hurry, you can use the one touch Quick event which will start an event with the default duration and VIP Pass associated with that event. Explanation of the permissions:
- android.permission.VIBRATE
Control vibrator: Used for the alarm to vibrate the phone with the desired vibration pattern
- android.permission.WAKE_LOCK
Disable standby modus: Used to make sure that the screen isn’t turned off during alarm
- android.permission.READ_PHONE_STATE
Phone calls / read phone state: This is to not interrupt active calls by the alarm and to stop the alarm when a phone call comes in.
- android.permission.READ_CALENDAR
Read calendar events: This is to get the time, title and location from the event when an alarm is raised.
- android.permission.WRITE_CALENDAR
Modify calendar events: When an alarm is snoozed my app has to store a new reminder for the event. This is stored in the calendar database.
- android.permission.GET_TASKS
Retrieve running applications: Used by the home helper to get the Launchers which can be associated with the home key
- android.permission.SET_PREFERRED_APPLICATIONS
Set preferred apps: Used by the home helper to replace the launcher for the home key
