[2013-02-12] A Google User: Complete waste of money Terrible widget. Very disappointing. Feels cheap. Want my money back. |
[2012-11-16] A Google User: Don't bother Comes as ugly as a dog's rear end and skinning is entirely too complicated when you can just download a better looking app in the same amount of time. Waste of my money. |
[2012-09-18] A Google User: NOT working for Samsung Galaxy S3 With Jelly Bean, even with the tutorial in the webpage developer waste of money... |
[2012-08-19] A Google User: Great widget with minor issues This is great and basically does what I needed, but there are two small things I'd like to see sorted out: 1 - I'd like to be able to scroll WITHOUT installing an alternative Home app. My other widgets can do this, so I'm sure this developer will also come up with a way to do it. 2 - There is a bug that when it is set to open the email when I touch the widget, instead of opening the one I'm on it opens one a long way down on my inbox.... So I have rather set it to open my email app Enhanced Email and then I work from there..... Otherwise great. |
[2012-07-06] A Google User: Says it has support for Enhanced Email but doesnt. I have a Samsuny Galazy S III....widget won't work with stock email but says it will work with Enhanced Email but not the case as I still get the same error message as I do with the stock android email. Seems to work with K9 but I can't get K9 to work with my exchange account. |
[2012-06-06] A Google User: Love the App! Great work! |
[2012-04-26] A Google User: Functional, if ugly This is probably the only email widget on the market that is functional with a stock mail app, but it could use some TLC on the aesthetic side. I'd like to see some kind of distinction between sender and subject (e.g. different font) as well as two lines per mail. What I really want is the ICS widget, basically, and don't see why this couldn't ultimately approach the same quality. |
[2012-03-14] A Google User: Working as expected. With K9 it is working as expected. A little bit rough in the edges regarding skins but still the only tool that can do this job out there. It crashes K9 quite often probably when K9 is not freshly loaded. |
[2012-03-11] A Google User: Average but has faults. Works ok but does not automatically load after a phone boot. I have to resize the widget to force it load. I am using Go launcher on MIUI. |
[2012-03-03] A Google User: Htc evo Will not let me download skins |
[2012-02-25] A Google User: Great scrollable widget Gives me widget access to any of my email accounts, including exchange accounts through enhanced email. A great combination. Thanks |
[2012-02-03] A Google User: Thisis the wrong app so far If I could I would have given this 0 stars. This app will not connect to my email and the website states that if you get warning that you have to route your device. This is unacceptable to not have this as NOTE in the description. I worked on this over 15 minutes so no Market refund now. If they fix this I will charge my review. Sony Tablet S |
[2012-02-02] A Google User: Developer please reply! Wouldn't let me refund within timelimit don't know if that's due to app or android?can't seem to sync with hotmail accounts?could just be me being a spoon.wasn't clear that i needed about rooted sgs2.looks perfect for.what i need it for but if i can't sync my mail inboxs(hotmail)as well as gmail then useless.please respond and ill re rate.just need some feedback.thank you |
[2012-01-23] A Google User: Very slick I just installed this over the weekend. Nice tool - nice UI. The only think I wish I could do is to delete emails from the widget without having to launch into each email individually. Aside from that, works as designed. Good stuff. |
[2012-01-08] A Google User: Clean display, impressive performance The addition of Enhanced Email support finally allows me to take advantage of this widget. Performance exceeds any other mail widget. |
[2011-12-31] A Google User: Love! Best email widget app out there! Simple yet extremely useful. Better than Exec Asst. And now with Enhanced Email support, just perfect! SGS2 |
[2011-12-06] A Google User: Ok - Works, but breaks after every reboot and has to be configured again. |
[2011-10-30] A Google User: Empty Have more than 30 unread emails in my inbox, the widget still showing empty.... REFUND |
[2011-10-12] A Google User: Does what it should. Works ok when used with k9. |
[2011-10-11] A Google User: Needs work Installed on Motorola Triumph. Since I wanted to use it with my Exchange account, I had to follow the web site instructions to install as a system app - steps were pretty clear, and I was able to view my Exchange e-mail in the widget. But I found it didn't refresh often enough, didn't look visually appealing - needs more skins and display options, different font options etc. Bottom line, it works - just not pretty. |
[2011-09-04] A Google User: Does the job but not pretty and won't open individual emails with k9. |
[2011-09-02] A Google User: Actually works. Great workaround until Google let's third parties back on the gmail train. |
[2011-08-19] A Google User: Doesn't work with enhanced email, contacted seller and after roughly 36 hours still no answer |
[2011-08-05] A Google User: Does what it purports to do I'd give it 5 stars if I could rename the widgets. "Inbox," "Inbox," "Inbox" and "Inbox" don't make it readily apparent which account has mail. |
[2011-07-25] A Google User: Works as advertised. Some people were clearly born stupid /// |
[2011-07-24] A Google User: Are we ever going to get an Update???????? |
[2011-07-23] A Google User: ... Not refreshing with cm7 |
[2011-07-23] A Google User: ***DO NOT BUY *** Installed carefully... It will crash after 1 day and you won't be eligible for a refund! (Galaxy S 2) |
[2011-07-21] A Google User: Doesn't work with HTC Sensation. Refund. |
[2011-07-21] A Google User: Its good. Not great. Simple. Needs more skins. Sometimes does not refresh properly. |
[2011-07-19] A Google User: This app shows up empty and doesnt work a lot of the time. I tried to contact dev as requested but he never responded so he gets a bad review |
[2011-07-17] A Google User: Great App but cannot get it to skin after 2 hours Followed all of the steps to skin the app. Wanted the yellow skin and used AndExplorer as the developer suggested. He said it would download to the skinnable options to be selected but it did not. It only downloaded to my download folder and I cannot select it to apply to the app. I am lost with this. Also, cannot show From on emails. It only shows subject. Wanted to send email to developer but for the life of me cannot find his email addess in he market. HELP PLEASE!!! |
[2011-07-06] A Google User: Uninstalled because it's not being used, still in my running tasks. Force kill and it restarts itself. Don't buy this, you can never get rid of it! |
[2011-06-26] A Google User: Clunky I do not really like this application, because it has a clunky, rough-feeling interface. Having to hand copy skins with a file explorer is not my idea of a well-designed product. That being said, the author is making the phone do something that it isn't really supposed to do, insofar as displaying unread counts for your corporate Exchange email. If that's what you are looking for, and you've rooted your phone, I suspect that this is your only choice. (Unless your carrier's OS addons support it) |

[2011-04-20] A Google User: App works terrific. Support is very responsive This app works well, even with unrooted Droid X / Gingerbread. If you are using with K-9 (which I use), be sure and install K-9 FIRST. Then download and install Email Widget. Doing so will make Email Widget work perfectly. I learned this trick from their support folks who responded and resolved the issue very rapidly. Solid app with excellent support. I suspect that those who are having issues have not followed the previously mentioned steps or have not contact their support. |

[2011-02-25] A Google User: Works as described. Very helpful developer Couldn't get the unread widget to work on my SGS i9000M. Developer was very helpful and responsive in resolving my setup issue - found out that I was using Social Hub from Samsung, therefore it wasn't working. It's not part of the support email client. Stock Android email client works. Problem with stock Android email client is..it doesn't support hotmail push, while samsung social hub supports hotmail push. |
