This app accompanies the exhibition ‘Living Worlds’ which opened at The Manchester Museum, UK, in 2011, but you don’t have to visit the exhibition to enjoy the app. The app is about the natural world and people’s relationships with it; it has been developed to appeal to a very wide range of interests so there should be something to interest you. It is intended to support you to get more involved with nature in ways that suit you and is provided free of charge; it can also help support the UK National Curriculum for KS3 and above. You can explore images, facts and stories about the hundreds of wonderful museum specimens included in the exhibition. These include large spectacular stuffed animals, tiny insects, beautiful birds, minerals, plants and a variety of other objects. The app contains detailed information on each specimen along with beautiful images of the animals and plants in their natural environment, provided by Arkive, the ultimate multimedia guide to the world's endangered species. Films of people talking about their own personal views and work relating to nature are included in the app and will be added over time. The Manchester Museum is the largest university museum in the UK and has some of the finest collections in the country, including birds collected by Charles Darwin, live South American frogs, Egyptian mummies and meteorites dating back to the formation of the solar system. The app has been developed by museum curators, working with academics throughout the University of Manchester. The app (like the exhibition) has been designed by villa eugénie, one of the leading stagers of  fashion events in the world, and Mubaloo, the UK’s largest mobile application developer.

[주요기능]

1. 온에어 (실시간 EBS 방송)
- TV, RADIO, PLUS1(수능), PLUS2(중학,직업), EBSe(영어) 5개 채널의 실시간 방송 서비스를 제공합니다.
  (이용자가 가입한 요금제에 따라 3G망으로 On-Air서비스를 이용 할 경우, 데이터 통신요금이 과다하게 발생할 수 있으니, 가능한 WiFi 망을 통한 서비스 이용을 권장합니다.)

2. 편성표
- 5개 채널별 일일 방송편성정보를 제공하며, 오늘을 기준으로 일주일까지에 대한 방송 편성 프로그램 시간 정보가 제공됩니다.

3. QR Scanner
- 스마트폰에 내장 된 카메라를 통해 QR코드를 인식하고, 그 결과 값을 제공합니다. (단, 내장 카메라가 없는 단말기는 지원되지 않음)
- 또한 스마트폰에 저장된 QR코드 이미지를 불러와 인식 후 그 결과값을 제공합니다.

4. 로그인
- EBS App에서 한번만 로그인하면 EBS App이 제공하는 모바일 웹서비스(EBS방송, EBSi)와 다양한 EBS 콘텐츠 이용에 필요한 SSO(Single Sign On) 서비스가 제공됩니다.

Learning My Numbers (v. 1.2)

The Learning My Numbers game has a kid friendly voice telling the child what number to choose. Their are three numbers on the screen at a time for the user to choose from. The numbers range from 0 through 9.

Your child will begin the game by a voice asking them to pick a certain number. If the number they choose is incorrect a friendly voice will tell your child to "try again". When your child picks the right number they will be praised and congratulated. Then a new game will start with a new set of numbers to choose from.

This game is a great for teaching kids their numbers! The game is a fun way for kids to practice. Its also a good change of pace for the kids. If you are looking for a great kids game to teach them numbers here it is with the Learning My Numbers app.

- A live streaming event with telegrams and correspondent reports of Lee's second invasion of the North that led to the Battle of Gettysburg.

With the advent of the 150th anniversary of the American Civil War (ACW) upon us, this is a simple app + widget that will unfold the news headlines and events of the ACW in real-time as they occurred.

This app recreates the experience of what it would have been like to read the headlines and news stories unfolding day-by-day... much like the BBC or New York Times widget do for news today.

American Civil War Gazette incorporates articles from both Northern and Southern newspapers. However, with the advantage of hindsight ACW Gazette attempts to have the stories reveal on the date (and time where possible) of the actual events rather than on the actual date of publication... which was often several days after the actual event.

To add the widget to your home screen, find a screen that has one complete row clear and hold your finger on the screen until the "Add to Home" menu pops up.

Then, select "Widget" and "American Civil War Gazette". The widget is live and will update every 30 minutes.
