- A live streaming event with telegrams and correspondent reports of Lee's second invasion of the North that led to the Battle of Gettysburg.

With the advent of the 150th anniversary of the American Civil War (ACW) upon us, this is a simple app + widget that will unfold the news headlines and events of the ACW in real-time as they occurred.

This app recreates the experience of what it would have been like to read the headlines and news stories unfolding day-by-day... much like the BBC or New York Times widget do for news today.

American Civil War Gazette incorporates articles from both Northern and Southern newspapers. However, with the advantage of hindsight ACW Gazette attempts to have the stories reveal on the date (and time where possible) of the actual events rather than on the actual date of publication... which was often several days after the actual event.

To add the widget to your home screen, find a screen that has one complete row clear and hold your finger on the screen until the "Add to Home" menu pops up.

Then, select "Widget" and "American Civil War Gazette". The widget is live and will update every 30 minutes.

To see the full article, tap on the widget.

Pooka Universal is not a game.  Pooka Universal is a board game assistant to keep score in games such as Spades, Hearts, Carcassonne, Puerto Rico, Scrabble, Monopoly and many others.

Pooka Universal is a generic Pooka module that supports three different categories and turn-based scoring.

The first category allows changes of +1 and -1.

The second category allows changes of +5, +3, +1, -1, -3 and -5.

The third category supports changes of +10, +5, +1, -1, -3 and -10.

Pooka modules require the free Pooka core app. You can find the Pooka core here in the marketplace. Alternatively the module will prompt you to download Pooka when you first start.

You can also browse existing games, launch new games and manage your friends list.

This is not the Agricola™ board game, but this Pooka module can be used when playing the board game.

The Pooka for Agricola module helps simplify end-game scoring, adds barnyard sounds for the animals (sheep, boar, cattle). The full module supports the original game as well as the Farmers of the Moor expansion and adds sounds for horses.

You can also use the scoresheet as a soundboard while playing the game for in-game sound effects or just to annoy other players.

This is a standalone demo of the Pooka for Agricola module.

You can also browse existing games, launch new games and manage your friends list.
