This app is designed for directors and DP's to block out and stage shots.

A director's viewfinder is a viewer used by film directors and cinematographers to frame a shot as seen through the camera lens. Like a traditional viewfinder, this app simulates various cameras, formats and lenses.

In order to support lenses wider than your device can display, the preview is shrunk in relation to the size of the actual lens.  You can use this to gauge the extents of the frame.

Currently this app supports lens sizes from 6mm to 200mm, most aspect ratio formats, and the following cameras:

35mm Film
35mm Still
Super 35
16mm
Super 16
Red One
Canon 5D
Canon 7D
Sony 2/3" chip cameras
Standard DV 1/3" chip cameras
2-perf Techniscope
Four Thirds system format
Panasonic AG-HPX370
Arri Alexa

I can add support for any camera, formats, or lenses.  Just send me an email with your request.

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ
Now you can take snapshots!  This is a new feature and may not work as expected on all devices.  If you find that youre having an issue, please email me with a detailed description of the problem, the device your running, and the Android OS version.

You can snap a picture by pressing the camera button, dPad button, or touch the upper left corner camera icon.  Because of the processing being done to the image, you must wait for the camera icon to be green before taking another picture.

Camera information will be added to the bottom of the picture.  Any overlays will also be added to the final picture.  A light screen is used to mask the area outside the chosen field of view.

All pictures are automatically added to the Gallery on your device.


IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR INSTALLING ISSUES
If there is a problem running this app after an upgrade, try uninstalling the app and reinstalling.  This seems to fix most problems people have had with upgrading.

If you loved the arcade game Missile Command, then I hope you'll like THAAD.

THAAD stands for Terminal High Altitude Area Defense.  You must protect your base from waves of enemy missiles dropping from the sky.  Tap the screen where you want your missiles to go, but be careful.  The enemy missiles are dropping fast so you must anticipate where they will be when your missile reaches them.  You have a limited supply of missiles at your command so use them wisely.  Luckily a well placed missile exploding in the path of an incoming missile with cause a chain reaction.  Try to clear each level with as few of your missiles as possible.

There are two game modes ARCADE and SURVIVAL.

In Arcade mode, try to survive as many waves of enemy missiles as you can.  You are scored by the number of missiles remaining in your arsenal, and the percentage of your base remaining.  How many levels can you clear?

In Survival mode, there is only one long level, and waves of ever faster missiles.  In this mode you have an unlimited supply of missiles at your disposal.  How long can you last?

I hope you enjoy this game.  I have ideas for another game mode that is more focused on strategy play.  I will be added this mode in the next update.

A slate(clapboard) intended for use in professional film productions.  Designed for anyone that needs a digital slate for their production.

I apologize for the premature posting of information for version 4.0 of my slate app.  I wasn't aware that the description has gone "live".  It was just written in preparation for the actual release.  Unfortunately there are still some technical hurdles I'm trying to overcome with SMPTE support.  I've found that it works on some devices like a Galaxy Tab, but not on my Nexus 7.  Please know that I'm actively trying to resolve this issue.


The current version is still 3.11

This is a high precision leveling tool with beautiful rendered graphics and smooth operation.  It comes with several leveling modes for different tasks.  The Inclinometer, Spirit level, and slope gauges are design for use with the device laying on its side.  The bubble level is designed to measure levelness while laying on its back.
