A slate(clapboard) intended for use in professional film productions.  Designed for anyone that needs a digital slate for their production.

I apologize for the premature posting of information for version 4.0 of my slate app.  I wasn't aware that the description has gone "live".  It was just written in preparation for the actual release.  Unfortunately there are still some technical hurdles I'm trying to overcome with SMPTE support.  I've found that it works on some devices like a Galaxy Tab, but not on my Nexus 7.  Please know that I'm actively trying to resolve this issue.

The current version is still 3.11

Thank you.

Best slate on Android by far Minor improvement I'd like to see is better access to the shot log. It would be nice if after you slate a take, the take info comes up and let's you edit notes, star rate, circle, etc. right then. It's a little annoying having to go through menus after every take just to mark whether it was good or not or make notes. Other than that it is awesome. Great customization. Easy to use. Simple. Love the shot log (just with it was easier to edit each take info)

Why Why on earth would u make a board u cant write on. It looks stupid doing this in a pro set up when it just says ur movie instead of the name. Please correct this shouldint be hard and ill change the stars till then im considering a refund Not good

Visual clap sync off with sound Sound of clapper is 4 frames ahead of the visual clap.

Have to use presets Can't put in your own notes so useless for news and doc makers.

Not bad Pretty good little app actually. Glad to see there is something comparable to all the iOS slate apps out there. It would be great though if we could custom label the roll, scene, take headers. Also scene suffixes need numbers too, not just letters.

a couple suggestions 1. at the bottom of the display you show "Night Int Sound". Those are good but make room for "Filters" such as "85" or "ND" or "PL". 2. allow 1 tap to increment Shot and Take. 3. landscape is EXCELLENT on my generic 7" Infotmic m799ca slate. 5. when clicking at the top to start a take you show an orange line moving across. That's very nice. But how about the option to hear a "Ping" sound as each second passes then the final slap? 6. the audio output of my generic slate is crappy. Can you supply a really REALLY LOUD slap sound? 7. in your Android Market screen example you show next to the DP field a field marked FPS then the user's selected number. On my display there is no field marking, instead it shows "24fps". Should it not say: FPS as in your screen shot, then my selection? 8. tapping in any of the fields in the lower third (Dir, DP, Camera, Date, INT, etc.) start the orange bar moving. That's not good as it's too easy to start the orange bar moving. I suggest only touching the clapper area actually start the orange bar. Does that not make more sense? Thanks you for a great app! This is why I bought my Android tablet!! Terry Thomas DP Atlanta, Georgia USA

Not bad! Works well for what it is. BUT Still needs: -Ability to enter any scene prefix, not just the pre-loaded ones. -Ability to jam sync through USB -Louder "clap" sound Even if just jam syncing was enabled, I'd give stars

Nice, but doesn't fit Nice app, but doesn't quite fit my screen (LG Optimus Slider)

Good app. I wish the clap was louder, and if you could jam this with timecode, I would pay $50, and I know other folks that would, too.
