The Donegal County Council Android App is part of a new and innovative communications system designed for public service authorities.

It allows citizens to send text, images and GPS information regarding such issues as fly tipping, graffiti, roadworks, and floods directly to their council.

The incoming report is routed by CitizenMode to the correct department and a response reference number is sent to the Citizen.

All reports are viewable in a Google Maps report which shows exact location of report.

The system provides SMS text Messaging, Custom Mobile Apps, Mobile Shortcodes, GPS Intelligent Routing and Onlibe Applications, all designed to improve communication between public service authorities and its citizens.

This application allows users to upload requests or enquiries to the Donegal Co. Council. Along with the message, the user can also attach an image, which will also be uploaded. The user will then be given a reference number for their request through which the progress of the request can be monitored.
