FlightIntel for Pilots is designed to be a resource to a pilot during all phases of a flight. It provides detailed information about 5500+ US public airports. It also aims to be useful during every phase of the flight. It is like having the printed Airport/Facility Directory (A/FD) on your phone and much more. AF/D data is downloaded to your phone and is available for offline use.
* US Airports only. Please do not install if you are looking for anything else. Please do not leave bad ratings because database does not contain other countries. I never said it did. I am sick of people doing this. Apparently they cannot read.

IMPORTANT: The database contains limited number of non-US airports from the FAA database. Also, the FAA database only has limited data on these non-US airports that it provides.

FlightIntel is ad-free and is available free of charge on the Market. I am a pilot hence the app is strongly focused to provide all the relevant information for pilots. I hope other pilots find it useful too. Please make sure to leave comments to tell me what you like and what you don't.
FlightIntel uses the National Airspace System data published by FAA on a 56-day cycle. This data includes information on airports, runways, communication and navaids.
FlightIntel is location-aware and can list airports around a user's location. It also provides heading and distance data to these airports. This information is updated automatically as the user moves around.
FlightIntel also lists navaids around an airports and provides radial/heading information. Selecting a navaid brings up detailed information about the navaid including any remarks.
The app requires "Call Phone" permission to allow it to call the phone numbers when you tap on them. You can directly call the phone numbers displayed by simply tapping on them. The application does not make any calls by itself.
