Dead easy app that accurately calculates the last tube time - taking into account changing between lines, lines shutting down at different times, engineering works, and the day of the week.

There's more variation than most people expect! Earliest is often before 11:30, and sometimes it's as late as 1am. Last Tube buys you extra drinking time by working out exactly how long you can party on without ending up on the night bus.

Last Tube handles complex cases like needing to change between several lines to get home - so no getting stranded in Whitechapel.

Control Keynote slides remotely and view scrollable presenter notes. Doesn't require a separate server application on your mac. Works over wifi (or 3G with firewall setup). Designed for easy one-handed operation with big 'next slide' button.

(Sorry, won't control an iPad - they don't support remote login).

Asks for internet permission because it needs to connect to your Mac over the network (and there's no way to ask for only "local network" permission). Doesn't connect to the outside world unless you ask it to :).

Fast and simple app that keeps track of the number of times you've used your disposable contact lenses so you know when to replace them. Also keeps an eye on your "last worn" and "last changed" dates so you can re-disinfect as necessary.
