This technical preview supports Android 2.1+ with root access. AnyConnect for Android 4.0+ devices is now available, identified as the "AnyConnect ICS" package.

COMPATIBLE DEVICES:
This release supports rooted Android 2.1+ devices. A compatible tun.ko module is required, which should be placed in /data/local/kernel_modules/ if the tun module is not built into the kernel. The iptables binary is also required.

For those without root access, a fully supported production AnyConnect for a set of Samsung, HTC, and Motorola platforms is available as a separate download from the Android Market.

We cannot guarantee compatibility, but look forward to your feedback.

APPLICATION DESCRIPTION:
AnyConnect provides reliable and easy-to-deploy encrypted network connectivity from devices by delivering persistent corporate access for users on the go. Whether providing access to business email, a virtual desktop session, or most other Android applications, AnyConnect enables business-critical application connectivity.

LICENSING AND INFRASTRUCTURE REQUIREMENTS:
AnyConnect for Android requires Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Boot image 8.0(4) or later. For licensing questions and evaluation licenses, please contact ac-mobile-license-request (AT) cisco.com and include a copy of "show version" from your Cisco ASA. If you already have an Essentials or Premium ASA license, you may use the automated license request tool at:
https://tools.cisco.com/SWIFT/Licensing/PrivateRegistrationServlet?FormId=717

The ASA requires an AnyConnect Mobile license (L-ASA-AC-M-55XX=), as well as either an AnyConnect Essentials (L-ASA-AC-E-55XX=) or AnyConnect Premium Clientless SSL VPN Edition (L-ASA-AC-SSL-YYYY=) license, where XX is the last two digits of your ASA model number and YYYY is the number of simultaneous users. AnyConnect Mobile and Essentials licenses are enabled per ASA, there is no per user charge for either of these licenses.

- Localizes according to the device's language and region settings

In general, all the latest Android smartphones (OS 4.0+) and tablets (OS3.0+) will support Cisco WebEx 2-way video. This includes the Google Nexus 10".

Dual-core CPU is required to send/receive video.

This app works with Cisco ūmi telepresence for your HDTV, with an active ūmi subscription.

Access your Cisco ūmi video messages and recorded videos on the go with the Cisco ūmi mobile app!  You can also easily add and edit your contacts using the touchscreen keyboard, and even use your Android phone as a touchscreen remote control for your Cisco ūmi!

Check missed ūmi calls and video messages:
  • Check missed calls while on the go
  • Retrieve a list of ūmi video messages left by your family and friends
  • Watch messages directly on your mobile device

Watch and share your recorded ūmi videos:
  • Retrieve a list of the videos you recorded using ūmi

  • Using the mobile app as a remote control requires you to connect your mobile device to the same Wi-Fi network as ūmi.
  • Cisco ūmi telepresence system and an active ūmi subscription with login/password required.

  • This app may use a large amount of data.  Please ensure you have a data plan associated to your device.
  • This app has been optimized for the following devices: Samsung Epic 4G, Samsung Fascinate, Samsung Galaxy S, HTC EVO, Nexus S, Nexus One, Droid Incredible by HTC.
