[2013-08-02] A Google User: Does this not sync with Outlook email? |
[2013-08-02] A Google User: Nice app... Very useful for meetings on the go. |
[2013-08-01] A Google User: Do not use Google Nexus 7 Android 4.3 Able to connect to meeting. Unable to configure sound/video and other options unless connected to a meeting. Unable to use the integrated calling feature, insisted on either having an external callback number or calling my tablet. |
[2013-07-29] A Google User: Good Good quality and seamless vision. |
[2013-07-26] A Google User: Decent Could be gaster on mobile devices and Wi Fi |
[2013-07-25] A Google User: Webex is best cloud conferencing platform! |
[2013-07-25] A Google User: Working 3 - because it can't connect audio via the app, but only callback on cell. |
[2013-07-23] A Google User: Good Works well with free phone number for audio |
[2013-07-23] A Google User: Good app But I can't pass control or change roles on the phone WebEx |
[2013-07-18] A Google User: Not working over 3G Tried to use this app over 3G doesn't connect to the network using jb422 and chrome.... Works fine over WiFi |
[2013-07-16] A Google User: Really bad Audio cannot be heard while watching the screen. Cannot direct audio to headphones. |
[2013-07-16] A Google User: Useless, won't run Crashes with error code 6 upon loading a meeting. |
[2013-07-12] A Google User: Could be better I can't make other participants as presenter. |
[2013-07-12] A Google User: Works wonderful! Easy to use. |
[2013-07-11] A Google User: Gecko People was saying that I am eckoing. Please fix. |
[2013-07-08] A Google User: Not working Not working |
[2013-07-06] A Google User: Runs all the time Why do you need it running all the time? |
[2013-07-04] A Google User: Cannot use speakerphone The app does not have a provision to route the audio to the speaker. It is impossible to watch a screenshare and listen to them at the same time. How stupid. |
[2013-07-03] A Google User: Broken voice when on wifi On Attrix HD if you join audio via WiFi its broken, others cannot hear you properly its mangled. On WiFi laptop it works fine. |
[2013-07-03] A Google User: Could be much better I host almost all of the webex meetings for my company and sometimes need to start a meeting from my android phone. There are a lot of key features that need to be added for me too give this api a great rating. I'm not always required to stay on these calls, so it would be great if they allowed me to choose one person to be presenter and a separate person to be host. Also, why doesnt the host have the option to record to the webex server if using the mobile app? |
[2013-07-02] A Google User: Missing crucial features As a daily Webex user via the PC I now tested this app on my Galaxy Note 2. One of the most important features is the fact that I cannot share files that exist on my phone, why not? Without this the app is useless |
[2013-06-27] A Google User: Info It is very useful and gides all the way,to me the problem is when it doesn't inform from the start requirements so to see if we can go ahead or stop |
[2013-06-26] A Google User: Doesn't work on JellyBean Says I need to have android 2.1 or better. 2 diff phones (tmo gx2 and telus note2) |
[2013-06-26] A Google User: No audio at all So I needed this app for a business meeting and I liked how I could click the webex url in my email and it opens the app, however I could only view the powerpoint presentation. There was no audio, even the button was grayed out and it said no audio integration for this meeting.. my coworker could hear everything on his PC, another coworker had her tablet and downloaded this app and couldnt hear audio either. This makes this app totally useless, if I cant hear what our clients are saying then what is the point? |
[2013-06-26] A Google User: WTF? I want to say how i feel about this app but then I'd be negative to the tenth degree. So to make it fair, the app is good to WATCH a meeting. Listening to a meeting is a whole other story in itself. Quite disappointed actually. I will be uninstalling this app and will not be using it on either my mobile or tablet until they fix the whole audio thing. Meetings I attend dont even have the call in feature to utilize that as an option to listen in. And i can imagine how much extra work that is just to ATTEND a meeting. Citrix, do what you do best...stick to computer software. Maybe apps just isnt your "thing". |
[2013-06-25] A Google User: Nice app Works fine for webex meetings on the go.. |
[2013-06-24] A Google User: Formerly great app, now disappointing This app used to work great. Suddenly it doesn't work for all Webex meeing types and suggests that you join the meeting from a computer. The lack of predictable compatibility makes this app useless. Time for an upgrade to the app?? |
[2013-06-24] A Google User: ok video okay video but issues with volume. I will check out later to see if it was a one time issue. Unable to view any recordings. Is there a fix?' |
[2013-06-23] A Google User: Works but no playback player Have several webex's downloaded, but no player available for mobile/tablet. So much for being a mobile app... |
[2013-06-22] A Google User: Missing major features USELESS!!!!! How stupid is it that you can't use the phone speaker!!!??? Impossible to try and hear through the phone and watch screen at same time. Doesn't zoom well and there's no mic mute when in landscape mode. Update: unbelievable that they still don't put in speaker function. On my S4 also, the volume on the headphone is virtually muted at max volume. This app is absolutely useless for anything more than to listen in with phone only and not even with a good headset. Pitiful software engineers. |
[2013-06-19] A Google User: What? Can't see chat, can't listen and watch simultaneously. |
[2013-06-18] A Google User: Really?! Is there a good reason why I have to use my minutes by calling in to hear the webinars? It can't be fixed where I can hear it in the app alone? |
[2013-06-18] A Google User: Good app.. Works fine.. |
[2013-06-18] A Google User: Demands too much permission! It wants my contacts and even my call log. And many other privileges. I don't trust this software. Uninstalling! |
[2013-06-16] A Google User: Works ok |
[2013-06-13] A Google User: Disconnects phone If in meeting and on call on same mobile and lose internet, WebEx ends your phone connection as well. Make it so phone connection stays |
[2013-06-09] A Google User: Good app, works without problems, would be great if there is a feature to share screen from tablets |
[2013-06-08] A Google User: annoying fault There's no persistency on the login screen, you MUST memorize either the meeting id or the password before entering a meeting. |
[2013-06-07] A Google User: Excellent |
[2013-06-07] A Google User: Very helpful app I use it every day, it is very help! Now i can even join online training!! |
[2013-06-06] A Google User: Not for india? The app seems to b really good but as I tried to register my identity, I couldn't do so. In the drop down list, India doesn't exist, under the heading of country selection. Please look into this. Rating is given for the attention that your team pay to the users' comments. |
[2013-06-06] A Google User: Good but too simple It doesn't show future meetings (only today), it doesn't handle links to meetings (you need a PC to figure out the meeting ID first), and it doesn't support any screen sharing nor whiteboard. |
[2013-06-06] A Google User: Slightly better Its getting there, slightly...needs support for meetings created on newer servers... |
[2013-06-06] A Google User: Still doesn't accept WebEx URLs. The app does not register itself as able to handle WebEx URLs. |
[2013-06-06] A Google User: Never miss a meeting This app is a life savior. Too many times I have gotten held up by traffic or another meeting and had to do the meeting over my smart phone. Can't live without it |
[2013-06-05] A Google User: Nice Good |
[2013-06-05] A Google User: awesome!! great app .... allows presenter swapping and screen share on mobile!! perfect for on the go meetings!! |
[2013-06-01] A Google User: Kills my phone The app itself is actually good and I like it. We use webex at work heavily. The problem is that when it is installed, my Samsung galaxy s3 "starts sweating" like it's strained to the maximum. I tried to uninstall and reinstall various times but every time it's the same thing. It becomes so slow that it takes like 10 seconds to actually open a contact in the contacts app or make a call! For this reason, we started searching for a webex alternative... No choice |
[2013-05-31] A Google User: Error android version not supporting in Samsung note 2 Hello, When I open a webex link from my calender using the firefox I am getting the below error " The Cisco WebEx Meetings app requires Android 2.1 or newer. Update your Android version if necessary." But I am using samsung note 2 and it has andriod version of 4.1.2. Please let me know what I have to do to make it work. |
[2013-05-31] A Google User: Excellent Fabulous |
[2013-05-30] A Google User: Works great Webex works well across my android devices, and my PC. I've never had a problem getting logged in and it does the job for the class that I'm in. |
[2013-05-30] A Google User: Good Overall But.... Why can't I use my mobile device's mic/speaker for audio?? Maybe it was just me missing it but when I was just In a meeting I didnt see the option... I only saw the call in/me feature. Strange. Ill gladly give this more stars when this issue is resolved... |
[2013-05-30] A Google User: I cannot use it on my Galaxy Tablet I cannot use this app on my Galaxy tablet. I put in the meeting number and it crashed. This is the third time its done that. I have no problem running. Will update rating once I can use the app. |
[2013-05-29] A Google User: It works, but I'm experiencing some big issues. My company recently switched from GoToMeeting to WebEx. It's been very frustrating since. I have three major issues here, but also have a few others that might be traced back to user error or design. 1) The app doesn't allow me to sign in before a meeting has been started by an admin. So if I come in at the scheduled time of 8, but the presenters are running late, it will kick me out. GTM allows me to sit and wait until admins come in. If this is by design, it's not a good one. 2) The sound is impossibly low when not dialing in. I prefer to use the internet, so I can utilize wifi and not risk dropping a call, but it's so low on data that it's unusable. Even after I configured all my sound settings high and use an amplified headset. This is my most critical issue. 3) The meeting ID isn't saved after the session is over. If I have a recurring meeting that I just want to continue the next day, I have to hunt down the meeting ID and reenter it. It may seem like a minor issue, but I feel like remembering your last meeting should be an easy task to implement. |
[2013-05-29] A Google User: Always works great app that always works |
[2013-05-28] A Google User: Does not work with Chrome Since Chrome is the only browser that shops with the Nexus 4 and I like using it the requirement to use a different browser is unacceptable. If you develop an app for Android that requires browser support either make sure it works with the default browser (which on newer phones is Chrome) or include your own browser. |
[2013-05-27] A Google User: Contact integration poor Contact integration is fairly useless, and causes major performance issues. Apart from that, a fairly useful app. |
[2013-05-25] A Google User: Excellent |
[2013-05-24] A Google User: Stopped working today Constantly getting error code 3101, requesting that I contact customer support :(. Worked until today. |
[2013-05-23] A Google User: Does not launch app on clicking link in calendar Every time I try to join the webex meeting by clicking the the meeting url in the default calendar on my android device - galaxy s4, it takes me to a page asking me to download the app. The app is already installed on my phone!! I miss my iPhone and the webex app on it. It used to work flawlessly. |
[2013-05-22] A Google User: Broken crap app Doesn't work for recorded meetings, requests permission for everything, slow and doesn't detect URI. |
[2013-05-20] A Google User: Gd |
[2013-05-17] A Google User: Works a treat Except if Chrome is your default URL handler.......! |
[2013-05-16] A Google User: Does not work |
[2013-05-14] A Google User: Cant find my meetings. The webex connect on my laptop displays my meetings but this one on my android displays none. |
[2013-05-11] A Google User: Doesn't start from links Something is different in recent versions. I cleared my Chrome browser settings and the app stopped starting meetings from links. Have to start with a mtg number from the app. Rather inconvenient. Contacted support and they said they're trying to get this fixed with Google. The app actually works fine, but the link problem cuts the usability in half. |
[2013-05-10] A Google User: Nice app but high CPU I reall do like this app. Don't miss meetings and internet audio isn't bad but why is it using a constant 20% cpu in the background when its not doing anything??? ******Update: May 9, 2013 - Thanks for the response Cisco! The update has resolved the CPU issue! |
[2013-05-10] A Google User: Cannot join meetings with latest version I'm trying to join a meeting by number and it doesn't work. I get error 31050 and I click the button to report the failure and nothing happens. It used to work with the previous version. |
[2013-05-08] A Google User: Can't join audio conference only Until recently, I could: - join a conference with the meeting ID. I would then join the video conference. - Have the app call my phone to join the audio conference - Leave the meeting, at which point I would be asked if I wanted to stay on the audio conference Basically there was an easy way for me to join the audio conference only (I don't want to spend my data plan on the video data and anyway I only need the audio while driving). Staying on the audio conference has been removed in the last version (3.0). It's either video+audio or nothing. |
[2013-05-08] A Google User: Getting error 31050 Not able to connect. Tried with android browser and crome also. Using samsung galaxy tab 2 p3100. |
[2013-05-08] A Google User: Awesome app! A real game changer With the latest updates, Cisco Webex delivers a great mobile connectivity experience. They're always working on little improvements, and it's quite apparent the Webex team really values feedback. |
[2013-05-07] A Google User: It shows my callender empty It shows my callender empty. Where as i have more than a couple sheduled in up comming week. |
[2013-05-06] A Google User: Easy to use and works great! |
[2013-05-03] A Google User: Not able to sign in showning unsupported browser in galaxy note 2 Im not able to login to webex it opens up my default browser in note 2 and its not sharing the credentials with the app .Please look into this issue |
[2013-05-03] A Google User: Unable to install I am running Samsung Galaxy S2 on Android 4.1. I am getting error msg that the package is invalid. Help please. |
[2013-05-03] A Google User: Error code 31050 Can't connect. Getting error code 31050 I'm using galaxy s3 |
[2013-05-02] A Google User: Cool Fantastic! |
[2013-05-01] A Google User: Issues with HTC Droid Incredible I use it on my HTC Droid Incredible for work. Everytime I make a call using the app the people on the other side say I sound like I'm speaking under water. I've tried even using a headset and that didn't help at all. Idk what the root issue is. |
[2013-04-27] A Google User: Camera issue fixed on Nexus 10 but... Video now works fine for Nexus 10. Overall a good experience as all features seem to work. However, if bluetooth is enabled during a webex session, the app crashes constantly. Only disabling bluetooth and rebooting fixed the problem. |
[2013-04-26] A Google User: Update: Video on Nexus 10 still problem *Update* The new version of the app did address several issues. First, the UI feels better. Second, the audio sounds normal. Third, the video does in fact work, without spouting some error about the camera already being in use. So thank you for responding to the comments and fixing something. BUT there are still problems. When using two-way video, the performance is brought almost to a standstill. With no video, audio is nearly perfect. Receiving parties still complain that it is not as loud as it could be, but it worked well. Once the two-way video was initiated, everything became choppy. 1 frame every 5 seconds or longer. The audio also became choppy to the point that neither party could understand the other. This was not a function of the WiFi connection, evidenced by the fact that Webex on a PC with multiple video streams over WiFi works well. Until two-way video works reasonably well, the app will not get anymore stars. |
[2013-04-26] A Google User: Can't sign up To sign up you're redirected to the website (why not integrate it in the app?) But on the sign up page the captcha script loads blank (Stock Android Browser) so you can't complete sign up. Without signing up you can't contact support.. |
[2013-04-25] A Google User: Constantly requires me to sign in the app won't stay signed in....I get alerts in my status bar asking me to sign in again...this has never been the case before a couple weeks ago. Otherwis decent app that primarily lets me avoid manually enter a 10 digit conf code which is a pain. Inconsistent prompting me to call me back when I connect to meeting...only does this ~50% of thetime. No two way video. No option to just leave a meeting if I'm the host, it kills meeting if I leave. 1 star for dumb canned reply for least of my problems |
[2013-04-25] A Google User: support for JB? This used to work on my TF700t with ICS, but fails to launch web meetings after switching to JB (4.2.1). Really a bummer, was one of the main apps I used. Was good at joining meetings for view. Unfortunately, you cant control desktops with it. Would also be nice to have that feature. Would give it 4 stars if it worked on JB. Otherwise 1 star is as low as I can do. ...never mind. it had something to do with how the meeting was started.. happened to be the first meeting i tried with JB. looks good. really wish I could control desktops though =] |
[2013-04-25] A Google User: Not compatible with Google Chrome for Android *** Update - Cisco contacted me, and it is in fact documented in the description. Seems to be an issue with Chrome itself. I "un-defaulted" Chrome as my default browser and picked another browser and it is working flawlessly now... Thanks Cisco for the quick response. ********* This is a great tool and I've been using it for years now, but unfortunately I am not sure if the latest release of Webex on the latest Chrome for Android release introduced this issue but the SSO doesn't work anymore when the default browser is Chrome. When asked to login, you receive the company SSO page in the browser and when the login process is completed the Webex app doesn't seem to receive the token and doesn't comeback so the Webex app is unusable. |
[2013-04-24] A Google User: Great Application Love to have 2 way video on both phone and tablet. and also, in my kindle, the UI is customized, and make it more comfortable on it. love it. great APP |
[2013-04-23] A Google User: well pleased i use this on both my S3 and Galaxy tablet without issues. video quality and sound are great too. |
[2013-04-23] A Google User: Why all the permissions? It is really helpful for attending office meetings from mobile. But why does this app needs all permissions like making calls, reading my Storage and changing it, reading all my accounts and capabilty to changr that etc... |
[2013-04-23] A Google User: On the bus! Very cool, I just joined a WebEx and conference call on the bus on my way to work, although I did need two phones to do this. Only four stars because it did not work landscape, so I had to zoom in on the detail. |
[2013-04-23] A Google User: It's ok It's ok. |
[2013-04-23] A Google User: Love having this on my phone But how about my Kindle Fire? Cant find it anywhere. |
[2013-04-23] A Google User: Awesome. Love having two-way video! |
[2013-04-22] A Google User: Great app Conferencing on the go |
[2013-04-22] A Google User: Useful Seems to work well viewing presenter's material and had good video quality. |
[2013-04-22] A Google User: Video on Nexus10 now works! Wonderful! Video on phone is fantastic too. |
[2013-04-22] A Google User: Nice Nice |
[2013-04-21] A Google User: Does not let me sign in I tried to login using the app. First it tells me to use my corporate email to login. When I tried that, it tells me to use the corporate URL. When I tried to use the corporate URL, it tells me to use the corporate email. Very confusing. Uninstalled it. |
[2013-04-15] A Google User: Good Nice...app |
[2013-04-12] A Google User: Doesn't work. |
[2013-04-12] A Google User: Works Good job |
[2013-04-08] A Google User: Awesome Makes life much easier when I have to attend a meeting. |
