SimpleForecast is a simple, lightweight weather forecast widget, based on Google's weather API.
SimpleForecast shows today's conditions plus the following 3 days.
You can tap on a day to get more detailed information from it.

Main features:
- Configurable location, metric system and refresh rate.
- Default values:
    - Location: Budapest
    - Metric system: Celsius
    - Refresh rate: 2 hours
- Forecast can be refreshed with the SimpleForecast application (menu button), also settings can be changed here.
- Widget background color and text color can be changed.
- Status messages can be switched off
- Selectable languages: English, Magyar

Important note: Google Weathar Api can change without any warning, in that case the widget probably stops working. I will try to fix SimpleForecast as soon as possible if that's happening.

Note: The refresh interval changes when the settings are refresh through the Refresh menu in the configuration panel.

Take this app with you and not worry if a wifi or data connection is available, as it is not dependent on a data or wifi connection. There are 2 'Views' - Graphical and List.

There will be more 'Views' later, and updated tides.

Newschannel5 Storm Tracker radar watching app (Neither this app nor company are associated with Newschannel 5 in any way). Updates every 20 minutes unless refreshed manually.

A couple of my commenters don't seem to get the widget thing. Constructive comments would be appreciated (It's free, no ads after all)

Hmm. Looks like it's stopped working for me. Newschannel5 may have changed its website. Unfortunately, I can't fix until I find my developer key. May have to release a new app.

It appears that at least one ad blocking application, Adaway blocks the site that provides the images. If you are not getting a display, consider disabling the ad blocking or add the site to the whitelist. The site is ftpcontent.worldnow.com

A widget to always be aware of the tides in Venice: on your homescreen there will be the next peak of tide (maximum or minimum) with textual and graphical representation, and you will be able to know the next 4 peaks by touching the widget.

If you are having problems with the humidity level in your home, and you have a basic thermometer and hygrometer which shows temperature and relative humidity, you can use this application to track humidity over time.

When you take a reading, you must enter temperature in degrees C, and relative humidity as a percentage.

If you know it, you can also enter the accuracy of your instruments e.g. ±1 degree; if you don't know this, you can use the default accuracy.

The application will then calculate estimates of dew point and water vapour density (how much water is in the air).

If you want, you can then save the point into one of six data banks. Stored points can then be graphed so that you can see if there is a trend over time.

Climate change information and news. Climate change is a long-term change in the statistical distribution of weather patterns over periods of time that range from decades to millions of years. It may be a change in the average weather conditions or a change in the distribution of weather events with respect to an average, for example, greater or fewer extreme weather events. Climate change may be limited to a specific region, or may occur across the whole Earth.

In recent usage, especially in the context of environmental policy, climate change usually refers to changes in modern climate. It may be qualified as anthropogenic climate change, more generally known as global warming or anthropogenic global warming (AGW).
The most general definition of climate change is a change in the statistical properties of the climate system when considered over periods of decades or longer, regardless of cause. Accordingly, fluctuations on periods shorter than a few decades, such as El Niño, do not represent climate change.

The term sometimes is used to refer specifically to climate change caused by human activity; for example, the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change defines climate change as "a change of climate which is attributed directly or indirectly to human activity that alters the composition of the global atmosphere and which is in addition to natural climate variability observed over comparable time periods. In the latter sense climate change is synonymous with global warming.
