This small piece of software automatically switch on airplane mode at night and switch it off in the morning.
You have the option to keep Wi-Fi status untouched. The on/off timer will be honored after reboot and will automatically adjusts to timezone changes.

TracePing is a network diagnostic tool which combines the functionality of the 'traceroute' and 'ping' programs and is similar to MTR(MyTraceroute), WinMtr.

First, it finds the path between your device and any internet server and then starts to send periodical echo requests to each host on the way, gathering round trip time statistics.

TracePing is very useful to investigate network problems, to find out where exactly is the connection bottleneck or a failure.

Features:
• A list of recently used hosts.
• IP selection for multiple IP hosts
• Visual traceroute: IP geo location and map plotting (optional)
• Extended statistics panel with min/avg/max ping, jitter and StDev
• Works on both WiFi and 3G/GPRS connection.
• Internationalized domains (IDN) are supported
• Share report
• Pause/restart ping
• Switching between IP and hostnames
• Tuneable interval, timeout, packet size, ping count and hop limit parameters
• Experimental IPv6 support (Needs root, because ping6 executable has no SUID bit on Android 4.0)

Notes:
• Root is not necessary (except IPv6 hosts)
• Currently doesn't work on devices without 'ping' executable.
• 100% loss usually means that ICMP packets are blocked on this host or it is down.

SlydeBoard: Fast Full Keyboard (v. 3.1)

Are you tired of switching keyboards for numbers and symbols?  Are you tired of tiny buttons?  This awesome QWERTY keyboard uses 9 big keys to type all letters, numbers, and symbols from a real laptop keyboard!

SlydeBoard works on all screen sizes!  (Adjust font size if needed -- see below for instructions.)

Works with browser, facebook, twitter, VNC, VPN, ConnectBot, emacs, vim, terminal, SMS, e-mail, texting, Nook Reader (hacked)ssh & telnet.

For the geeks out there, CTRL characters, TAB, ~, |, , {, }, _ and ESCAPE all work without having to pull out your hardware keyboard!  They're exactly where you expect them to be on the keyboard!

After install, go to 'Settings->Locale & Text' to enable SlydeBoard.  (It may also be in 'Language & Keyboard' on some android devices.)

Once SlydeBoard is enabled, just long press on any input method to activate it!

SlydeBoard configuration settings are available on the 'Locale & Text' settings screen right below the checkbox to enable the keyboard.  The defaults are ok when you start, but you'll want to customize it once you see what works for you!

Most keys are self-explanatory, but swype up on any button for backspace.  Swype down on any button for enter.  If you can't find a key, just hold down a button to get a popup of all the possibilities!

SlydeBoard includes currency symbols for dollars, euros and pounds.

SlydeBoard has support for the tilde n and tilde N from spanish.

Scrolling is supported too!  The buttons on the left side allow scrolling left & right.  The buttons on the right side allow scrolling up & down.

Just hold your finger on a key to see all of the available keys.  Remember to slide rapidly left or right to get to the keys on the edge, like 'q' and 't'.

Turns on/off the sounds of your phone during the night or whenever you want. NightMode allows you to set differents night modes according to your needs. You can set the days when you want to turn on your night Mode, activate just the vibrate mode and even set differents days for the same night mode so you can set one configuration for the weekend, another for your working days, holidays, etc.

Vana'diel Timepiece (v. 1.04)

This application shows the Vana'diel time.  It allows for day and moon phase alarms.  The clock is based on the cellphone's time.  Hold down days or moon phases for alarm options.

A new experimental setting allows for a time offset, to hopefully solve any time discrepancies.  I'll see what I can do to make this application future-proof, since I have not played online in a while.
