With the growing concern of internet and network security, passwords are vital that the are strong. Unfortunately strong passwords aren't very easy to remember. There has been a growing trend in using password managers, however for me I find it very unnerving that guessing one password could reveal all my passwords.

Secure Password Generator aims to try and alleviate these issues. Input a passphrase and memorable number/PIN and you are presented with an 8-14character password (length of your choosing). These passwords aren't stored but remembering your PIN and passphrase will retrieve it.

An example of use could be your twitter password. Input a PIN like 1234 and a passphrase of "I tweet here", generates a password like this - 1dT%lv8Y

Although not memorable easily retrievable from your phone.

The Remote Thermostat application allows users to interact with model NT Series Thermostats manufactured by Proliphix.  The Remote Thermostat application is specifically designed for models NT10e, NT20e, NT120e/h, NT130e/h, NT150e/h, and NT160e/h.

The Remote Thermostat application provides an easy-to-use interface to check the status and adjust the settings of the Proliphix thermostat.  This version of the Remote Thermostat application is for basic home use and allows users to control the essential functions of their Proliphix thermostat.  For example, the application can be used to adjust a home’s temperature settings while the owners are at work or traveling, enabling them to conserve energy while out of the house and adjust to a more comfortable setting before returning home.

For version 1.0.0 of Remote Thermostat, two activities are provided:

(1) Authentication – Provides a form to supply a username and password to access the Proliphix thermostat.

(2) Device Status – Displays zone temperature, HVAC mode and state, and heat and cool settings.  Allows users to turn off the Proliphix thermostat, change the heat setting only, change the cool setting only, or adjust both the heat and cool settings.

The Remote Thermostat application also provides help files for users who need additional information regarding functionality.

Resistor Calculator provides a simple and straight forward application to quickly calculate the resistance of a 3, 4 or 5 colour band resistor.
Simply select the amount of colour bands on your resistor and then input the colour of the bands in order. The value of the resistor will be displayed at the top of the screen.

Keeps codes and passwords safe and in one place.

CodeSafe allows you to enter a code/password by entering a name, a description and a the code/password itself. When viewing the entries, the codes/passwords can be hidden so that only the name and description is shown.

The description field can alternative be used as the "username" field while the code field contains the actual password. Or maybe use the description field to store a password hint and hide the passwords from the list.

The codes/passwords are saved encrypted into a database and associated with the current SIM card. Switching SIM card will prevent the codes from being viewed in the application.

Export/import function is available in case of switching SIM-card or the phone itself. The exported codes are protected with a password, which doesn't need to be the same as the password for the application.

The permission READ_PHONE_STATE is used to read the SIM card subscription number to detect SIM card changes.
