This application allows the user to list his/her name as the person using the phone along with a minimum of 1 cell phone contact and a maximum of 5 cell phone contacts to automatically ATTEMPT to text and voice call in event the application senses a shock or jarring motion which might be triggered by an accident.
The data texted and voice sythesized has the GPS coordinates captured at the time of the accident so that the humans with the cell phones can call authorities with the location and ask that they respond at the site of the alert.  The user has the option to cancel the emergency alert in a user-selected amount of time of 5 seconds, 15 seconds, 30 seconds or 60 seconds. The impending time alert is also signaled by a vibrator pattern in event the alarm sequence is accidently initiated in a person's pocket or otherwise out of view.
In the event the alert is NOT cancelled the application ATTEMPTS to text the cell phone(s) chosen and then will attempt to voice call the same cell number requesting the contact attend to the text message and follow those instructions.
It is suggested that the user test the application, activating with a sharp slap on the hand or knee. FIRST, notify the potential contacts that this is a test.
This application has a DISCLAIMER which will be viewed every time the application is started, stating that there are many factors which could keep this application from succeeding with the attempted communication including but not limited to:
destruction of phone on impact,
poor or nonexistent phone coverage and/or service,
the phone not on,
the application not running,
the chosen contact numbers being out of service or wrong,
and others I've not thought of yet...
So, use at your own risk.

Do you brew your own beer? Put away those paper recipes and stopwatches and pick up Brewmatic! Brewmatic allows you to input and save your recipes on your Android device. Then, when you're ready to brew, simply pick a stored recipe and Brewmatic will do the rest.

Brewmatic steps you through the process of brewing: from mashing to sparging to boiling to fermenting. At each step, it starts and appropriate timer and then alerts you when its time to add each ingredient. Hops at 30min? Whirlfloc at 10min? Brewmatic will put up an Android alert and vibrate to let you know.

I made this app because I couldn't find anything like it and I wanted to use it for my own brews. Hopefully you'll find it helpful. It's not the slick and pretty, but it is functional. If enough people jump on board, I'll release some interface updates.

Stay Close 2 Me (SC2M) for Android serves one purpose only: Keeping your valuables/loved ones near you at all times.
It is based on a simple principle regarding BlueTooth (BT) devices: They have very limited range.

Here's how it works: SC2M has a very simple interface; a status display and a toggle button. Hitting the toggle button will pop-up a list of all BT devices ever paired with your phone. Selecting a device prompts SC2M to start monitoring that device. Once the device gets away far enough to be out of range, about 5-10 meters, SC2M will activate a powerful alarm sound and start vibrating the phone, alerting you that the device is out of range or, alternatively, revealing your phone's whereabouts.

With SC2M it is possible, for instance:
- To prevent phone theft/loss. Monitoring your BT headset which is placed on your ear, for example, will sound an alarm if you forgot to take the phone with you as well, or, if someone tries to steal it and by doing so will reveal the phone's location and expose the thief.
- To make sure your little child won't stray away from you in case you get distracted. By monitoring his/her phone or a little BT headset placed in his/her pocket or school-bag, SC2M will make sure to sound an alarm to let you know when your child is not close.
- To make sure you won't loose your phone on a trip.
