This application will keep the screen on, when an application of those you have selected in the list is running. It periodically checks to find if the application is running and locks the screen not to sleep. When the application stops, the lock goes off.

Permissions required:

android.permission.INTERNET
This permission is required for the program to use the ip protocol in order to upload and synchronize images with your computer.

android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
This permission is required for the program to access the  storage on your device where camera images and video is stored.

android.permission.ACCESS_WIFI_STATE
android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE
These permissions are used by the program to check if you are on your home network (where the network share is likely to be available).

android.permission.WAKE_LOCK

A simple /etc/hosts editor which will let you add entries to the hosts file from your phone: it only lets you add new entries, not edit, remove or modify.

Could be handy in some situations, for example:

- override public DNS response when you are accessing an internal server with public IP address behind a NAT
- re-add your custom hosts entries after you have updated the hosts file with other programs like AdFree

Needs root and unlocked NAND access to mount /system in rw mode, otherwise it won't work.

Cryptnos is a multi-platform, Open Source application for generating strong, pseudo-random passwords using cryptographic hashes. It combines a unique "site token" such as a website domain name with a master password and runs this data through a cryptographic hash algorithm to produce a password that is unique, lengthy, seemingly random yet completely repeatable. Unlike similar products, however, it is exceedingly flexible. It is not a browser plugin, so it can be used with other applications outside the Web. It provides unparalleled versatility by letting you specify the cryptographic hash to use, how many iterations of the hash to perform, what characters to include, and how long the final password should be. Best of all, it is exceedingly secure. Your master and generated passwords are *NEVER* stored, and the parameters to recreate your passwords are stored using strong AES-256 encryption.

Cryptnos is currently available for Microsoft Windows via the .NET Framework 2.0, as well as for Google Android powered devices. A version for pure Java is under development, as well as an HTML/JavaScript online version that should work with any browser.
