[2013-01-04] A Google User: Perfect! After finding and installing this app, it synced everything to my Server 2012 home server, and continues to do so every night. My wife and I use it, and I have all our photos on the phones back up. Amazing! Love it! |
[2013-01-03] A Google User: NAS wifi picture uploads made easy I tried a number of apps to find one that would easily sync pictures on our mobile devices with our network storage (Windows Home Server 2011). This one not only promised what I was looking for, but it does exactly what it was designed to do. As soon as our devices connect to our wifi at home, the app uploads any new pictures to our network storage without any input on our part. This is a HUGE peace of mind, as we use our mobile devices to take pictures of our newborn and wanted a separate copy on secure storage out of the cloud. I could not be happier with this find! |
[2013-01-02] A Google User: Ok, but.. Works great as the title suggests.. For backing up pictures. Why in the world, however, would they limit the app to this? Why not have the option for music and other file types. Not a complete backup solution, but could have been.... |
[2012-12-30] A Google User: Great App..when it works Sweet Home was working fantastically for me for a couple of months, Now unfortunately it is returning an error about low watermark, and the operation is failing. Developers response was that the target drive is at capactity, howeve the target drive has 100's of Gb of data left. UPDATE: turns out the problem was do to do with the default admin user account on the drive. All resolved now. Four stars. Five stars if it could handle any directory in the phone. |
[2012-12-29] A Google User: Sweet Home picture transfer Great app worked on my Galaxy S and works great on my S III. I highly recommend this easy to set up and use app. |
[2012-12-28] A Google User: Simply works! (after you find how to make it work) 1. in settings go to 3.upload target 2. open advanced 3. remove selection from "Enabled" and "Only NTLM based authorization" works like a charm the latest version on 4.2.1 is not as good as it used to be.. |
[2012-12-16] A Google User: Cool app Does what it is supposed to do without a hitch.only problem is, if you use the free version, upon connecting to the power charger, it gets stuck at the message box asking if you are a tester or want to buy the full version. Since I only manually uploads photos, it doesn't bother me that much. |
[2012-12-05] A Google User: Needs an update, java permissions during upload This application is really good and I have been using it for quite some time. However, I just bought a new droid DNA and it will not upload photos, I am getting a java exception. I sent an email, hopefully they have a fix. |
[2012-12-01] A Google User: Lovely tool |
[2012-12-01] A Google User: Outstanding app It allows me to keep a backup and library of all photos and videos without lifting a finger. Setup was quick and easy to my linux server and since then its just worked. 5 star app. |
[2012-11-29] A Google User: It's good to be back! Used to love this app but got a new phone and forgot about it. Finally got around to installing it again and it's still great! Thanks for the great work dev(s)! |
[2012-11-26] A Google User: Perfect Perfect app, so simple...wish there was something so convenient for backing windows up to the cloud! |
[2012-11-22] A Google User: App not working With every instruction followed, all seemed good to go and I was excited to get in today and finally get on with this (for some reason USB connect doesn't work; my computer never realises my phone is plugged in), but when I hit manual upload I either get (9 times out of 10) an error message or I get an 'Upload in Progress' which never actually starts. I do have 8.5gb of photos on my phone that I want to transfer, is that maybe causing it to jub out? Anyone know how I can contact SweeSoft to query it? Cheers. |
[2012-11-19] A Google User: Home Right |
[2012-11-18] A Google User: Does not work on 4.2 Can not select home network on 4.2. Not able to upload |
[2012-11-14] A Google User: Perfect for backing up pics from phone Try it then buy it. Used this to upload photos from phone to home computer then to backup hard drive. |
[2012-11-12] A Google User: Easy to use and works! After trying loads of apps and buying a few that where recommended to keep my photo's backed up to my NAS I finally found this one. The interface makes it nice and easy to setup and it works! and it keeps working. I'm well impressed. |
[2012-11-03] A Google User: Solid little app! Great features and works pretty well inside my home wireless network. A little technical to setup for more complex home networks but if you've got the know-how, works as an excellent 'fire and forget' file backup tool :-) |
[2012-11-02] A Google User: Not working I am able to access shares via another android program but not this one. GS3 stock Ice Cream sandwich |
[2012-10-29] A Google User: Works OK, but not when screen turns off I have my HTC One X set not to turn off wi-fi when the screen turns off, but it still stops transferring files. I emailed the developer and he seemed uninterested in fixing the issue or finding a workaround, just basically said "well, guess that's a problem with HTC." Otherwise, I like all the features, but wake on lan could be a little more conveniently placed. |
[2012-10-27] A Google User: Reliable A reliable app that hasn't crashed. Only negative is that I find myself checking uploads often as it ALWAYS advises that uploads have failed - if it has actually failed it will most likely work the next time it attempts an upload. Note: a failed upload is not the app crashing. |
[2012-10-26] A Google User: Exceptionally useful app I've been using this app for quite sometime now and haven't had any problems. I absolutely love it! Once it's set up, basically forget about it, and it'll back up your photos to your computer near instantly as you take them (if you're at home), or as soon as you connect to your home WiFi. So very happy with this app, especially seeing as though it's still in Alfa! |
[2012-10-21] A Google User: Just works! No issues so far. Excellent app. Configurable. Easy. |
[2012-10-18] A Google User: Halloween Crazy kids |
[2012-10-17] A Google User: Excellent Does exactly what it says. Not too hard to set up but may be tricky for some non-technical people. Works perfectly. Not had one crash in 3 weeks of use. Uploads to my Iomega home media network NAS no probs from Sony Xperia S and wifes Samsung Galaxy Ace. |
[2012-10-16] A Google User: Good. Working after format of sd card |
[2012-10-15] A Google User: Awesome Works pretty good. One small change it needs is how it renames files as every file has today's date instead of time stamp the day picture was taken. |
[2012-09-28] A Google User: It just works as advertised! A touch fiddly to set up, but hasn't missed a beat since. All software should be this good! |
[2012-09-28] A Google User: Excellent App! Too many people are slamming this app that clearly have no business doing so. Very simple to setup using remedial networking skills. A bad app is a bad app, but if you simply can't figure out how to work an app or your home networking, you've got no business reviewing it. |
[2012-09-25] A Google User: Great app Does a really good job. |
[2012-09-21] A Google User: Great app Love the choice of selecting which folder n where it goes... Pretty much had everything I was looking for. |
[2012-09-18] A Google User: Very nice - could use a custom target or folder create option though. Otherwise very nice, will be buying the full version shortly after the initial tests |
[2012-09-16] A Google User: Can't work after update Do not update to the latest, it can browse my shared folders any more, while my second phone which uses the older version still working. Please fix this |
[2012-09-16] A Google User: Does what it says. Great app, never any problem would highly recommend. |
[2012-09-10] A Google User: Sweet home Wifi picture backup Nice! p(^-^)q |
[2012-09-01] A Google User: Superb It works, flawlessly. Let's hope they don't mess it up with future updates ;-) |
[2012-09-01] A Google User: All i put all the setting amd checked them the app keeps telling me that upload fail. Please explain. |
[2012-08-31] A Google User: Useful app Very useful app. Easy to configure and works fine although sometimes (rarely) I need to reset wifi connection to make it work... The aesthetics of the app and the icon are not the most beautiful but functionally it's perfect! |
[2012-08-29] A Google User: Great! It makes uploading my pics so much easier. |
[2012-08-27] A Google User: bintang Petik bintang |
[2012-08-27] A Google User: Fantastic and simple I had a couple of issues working out how to point at my Samba share at first as it seemed to use a domain name incorrectly but after that it was simple. Brilliant application. |
[2012-08-24] A Google User: I Love This App I lost pictures last year when my sd card died. Never again. I love this app. |
[2012-08-23] A Google User: Had to manually enter home computer IP address Seems to be a decent program. My only complaint so far is that I had to manually enter my home computer's ip address-the app didn't find it. |
[2012-08-21] A Google User: Great App Working great as an alpha build. Easy to set up and works great. Will be good to see what the future brings for this app. |
[2012-08-20] A Google User: JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR Awesome app, thank you very much for making this available to all android users. I liked how i was able to customize everything without any problems. |
[2012-08-19] A Google User: Niklas The best app out there! It does what it is supposed to do and never fails! |
[2012-08-17] A Google User: Good, Need to understand networks. Not bad! I was having some issues that the system was kickingback an " ACCESS DENIED " error. After troubleshooting it, turns out to be on MY end. The server did not have the correct permissions set. I am a computer tech, so I was able to figure it out, however a layman might not as there was not good debugging information in the program. |
[2012-08-17] A Google User: Bohut accha he bhai Kamal ka chej he bhai |
[2012-08-15] A Google User: Nice One Good app... works well with my xperia mini pro. Suggestion: it should create a log file of your synced files so that in case you wish to re install the app, just use the log file to identify the last sync and continue from that point. i do keep lot of pics on my phone and i dont like when it re sync them all... |
[2012-08-11] A Google User: quick & reliable it does, what promised. smoothly, quickly, imperceptibly! after you swallow bug with "dot", as Labsy menitoned (i was a familiy/victim tester), you can relax. and enjoy :) |
[2012-08-09] A Google User: Continuous push notification nagging. Removed. Dont install until this is fixed. |
[2012-08-05] A Google User: Awesome after setup Works awesome, however the setup process was a bit quirky. It would not work, after a day of trying I gave up..the next day I tried it again with the same settings and it worked. I will def upgrade to the paid version to support this app. One of the most useful apps on my phone...kind of like androids version of apple's photo stream. |
[2012-08-04] A Google User: preserves photo dates/times other wifi file copying tools I tried overwrite the time/dates on photos. This is the only one I found to do it correctly. 4 stars because the UI is a bit cumbersome. But it does the job. |
[2012-08-01] A Google User: Anonymous Love it |
[2012-07-31] A Google User: Great app Only one i could find that does photo storing using windows network shares, and it does it brilliantly! |
[2012-07-25] A Google User: Lovely |
[2012-07-25] A Google User: Very good, very simple, just works Very good first alpha version. Very good setup guide ensures easy setup. Looking forward to future releases! |
[2012-07-22] A Google User: Excellent with some bugs This app is brilliant, excellent design, just what I wanted - when I come home, new photos and videos are automatically and seamlessly copied over to my computer. But, it has some flaws (tested on SonyEricsson Xperia): - when screen goes to sleep, application stops uploading images - when setting up shared folder, which is password protected, the settings for username/password should be before computer folder selection - when choosing uploaded image FOLDER NAMING, DO NOT!!! choose setting "day/month." (be aware of "." dot at the end of name!) Folder or file names with "." dot at the end are NOT allowed on windows system, so once folder is created, you won't be able to browse, get rid of it, rename it or delete it! I had to use Linux boot CD to remove this folder. |
[2012-07-22] A Google User: Perfect! Saves all pictures to home computer perfectly! No issues at all. I wish it did music but...oh well. |
[2012-07-20] A Google User: Nice app Works like a charm |
[2012-07-19] A Google User: Great Works well backing up all of my photos every time I charge my phone while connected to my home wifi. Samsung Skyrocket |
[2012-07-17] A Google User: 5stars to make it for idiots posting 1 star Actually a 4 stars, as it works great but I'd like to use it with all types of files as an option. This is backup, not sync |
[2012-07-16] A Google User: No longer works after updating to ICS GS2 - fails after updating to ICS. All setting checked and correct.. Was brilliant before update. Now is a waste of space.. |
[2012-07-13] A Google User: Great app |
[2012-07-10] A Google User: Simplicity So easy that i almost want to pay for it to show support. Maybe next week... |
[2012-07-10] A Google User: Great program - used to be Thanks for fixing this so fast. It works again. Now it is broken again like others are reporting, will not connect. |
[2012-07-05] A Google User: Finally! New to the droid world and was beginning to lose hope...until I found this excellent app! I can finally snap away happily and not have to upload pictures singly to an internet album just to back up my pictures. Simple, easy to use, and I like the choice of advanced user and novice. Very well done, excellent directions, set up in less than 15 minutes. Great job! |
[2012-07-05] A Google User: Good idea, few bugs Transfer sometimes stuck at 1%. If i cancelled and tried again, it said "operation failed". I'm also not sure the timestamp reset button works, it seems greyed out. I liked to transfer my pics to both my work and home networks and Sweesoft wrote back to explain how installing the donate version side by side i could do that. Works great. |
[2012-07-04] A Google User: Love this app Simply works as advertised. |
[2012-07-01] A Google User: great application. just so easy to use and all automatic. |
[2012-06-29] A Google User: Indispensable An easy to use, indispensable application. |
[2012-06-26] A Google User: Os x lion... Useless now! Mac os x lion compatibility broken. Get a java permission error and transfer stops. :-( |
[2012-06-22] A Google User: It is Fantastic. |
[2012-06-21] A Google User: HOX Backup stalls at the first image. Says "operation failed" and the error message only flash briefly. |
[2012-06-18] A Google User: Brilliant This application is absolutely brilliant. I need to photograph every insurable item in my household bit by bit and as time allows and have those images sent to my PC for addition to an insurance list database WITHOUT FUSS. This is the perfect solution an easier than getting out my pro camera. Works without hassle. |
[2012-06-16] A Google User: Awsum works great. Set it and forget it. |
[2012-06-08] A Google User: Brilliant, no more lost/corrupt photos! After an SD card went bad on me and I lost months of media, I sought an app that would automatically upload files to my home server. This is that app. Works really well. |
[2012-05-29] A Google User: I Played with settings for a good while and just couldn't manage to get the app to read my shared folders on my PC. Yes, file sharing is enabled, yes everything is set-up on the PC side of things. I tried a similar app (SyncMe Wireless) and was able to get it up and running within 30 seconds, so for anyone else who can't get this to work I would recommend that app. |
[2012-05-28] A Google User: What am I doing wrong? Can not, for the life of me, get this to work. Htc Evo |
[2012-05-28] A Google User: Love it. But.. Would be nice if i could upload/backup via mobile network as well and not just WiFi. That way if i lose my phone during the over sea trip all is backedup at home. |
[2012-05-24] A Google User: Does what it says on the tin Downloaded and had it up and running in less than two minutes, awesomely simple! |
[2012-05-16] A Google User: Awesome app ! ! ! Easy to set up, auto pilot after that. Backs up my phone every night! |
[2012-05-15] A Google User: Works flawlessly No issues working with Windows 7. Easy setup! |
[2012-05-06] A Google User: Doesn't work Doesn't work with windows 7. Other programs can browse network easily but this one cannot . Avoid |
[2012-05-01] A Google User: Amazing app love it! Have been using the app for 2 months love it and new UI rocks keep up the good work |
[2012-04-29] A Google User: Works ok Everything is filety. Thanks |
[2012-04-28] A Google User: poor app, doesn't work well Won't update automatically. Manual every time. Most times fails during update. Doesn't organize by folders. Terrible app. |
[2012-04-28] A Google User: Doesn't work I have some experience with configuring networks and this stuff didn't want to play by any rules. |
[2012-04-28] A Google User: Whats up While most have this working really good, some appear to have an issue. Will make alpha version full again but really want to make contact with someone who has these issues. Meanwhile, you may try enterring WORKGROUP in the filed and that may help even though on some systems it slows down upload... |
[2012-04-28] A Google User: Works great Hey patricia, maybe you should turn sharing on perhaps? ID10T error! Works flawless on all 3 of my phones, pro, droid 2, and stratosphere |
[2012-04-28] A Google User: Essential App This type of functionality should come with Android by default. Works flawlessly! |
[2012-04-27] A Google User: Never worked Did everything the limited documentation said and couldn't make it work. :( |
[2012-04-27] A Google User: cannot find my computer Hours of trying everything but app cannot find my computer, not by name or ISP. Lame. Cannot even uninstall. Better use of my time to search for a different app. Too bad. This seemed to be just what I wanted. |
[2012-04-26] A Google User: A M |
[2012-04-25] A Google User: Koen Very useful application, also easy to use! |
[2012-04-24] A Google User: Fantastic app. Does exactly what it says on the tin and does it well! |
[2012-04-15] A Google User: Slow transfer Great idea, good interface but really slow. Es file explorer copies a file in second this thing going for minutes |
[2012-04-15] A Google User: Great functionality - slow upload I don't know if slow upload is due this current version... but if I take ES Explorer and copy paste the files, the speed rate are as expected. I will give it some more tries and update the review later. |
[2012-04-14] A Google User: Great App Very useful. Always works for me silently in background. So nice to have photos uploaded to my nas box automatically. |
[2012-04-14] A Google User: Love it!! I've been using this app for a while now, and it just keep on getting better. |
