A simple quiz to recognize and name famous people from their pictures. Good for general knowledge as you never know when their names might occur in conversations.
The people are very famous but maybe a little USA/UK biased. Sorry about that, please email me your famous people and I will add them to the game.
The quiz is easy to use - no menu problems. Just question and answer.
Have fun and buy the full game with 185 famous people after trying this working demonstration application.

Astrological calculator for professional astrologers.

The calculator will provide you with the following data:

Strict coordinates of planets, stars, asteroids and fictitious planets:

Real planets: Moon, Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto.

The giant panda lives in a few mountain ranges in central China, mainly in Sichuan province, but also in the Shaanxi and Gansu provinces.Due to farming, deforestation and other development, the panda has been driven out of the lowland areas where it once lived.
The panda is a conservation reliant endangered species.A 2007 report shows 239 pandas living in captivity inside China and another 27 outside the country. Wild population estimates vary; one estimate shows that there are about 1,590 individuals living in the wild, while a 2006 study via DNA analysis estimated that this figure could be as high as 2,000 to 3,000. Some reports also show that the number of pandas in the wild is on the rise. However, the IUCN does not believe there is enough certainty yet to reclassify the species from Endangered to Vulnerable.

This app is an early alpha app for the DroidOrb dock accessroy project. Please do not download this yet unless you are working on or testing the DroidOrb project (see http://droidorb.com).

DroidOrb is an extensible, open source Android accessory. In it's barest form, it is a bedside or table-top dock for your Android phone that will charge the phone, and provide external notifications via it's "orb", which is a translucent white ball containing RGB and white LED's. The orb will glow and pulsate in various colours depending on the configuration of the DroidOrb app on the phone, and is used primarily for alerting the user to notifications such as missed calls, missed e-mails, etc. It is also extensible via simple modules to allow your docked phone to integrate with other systems, e.g. panic button, alarm system, home automation, etc. See website for details.

Other nifty features include (some still under development):
- Night mute: automatically mute your phone (with exceptions) when the lights are turned off
- Anti-theft: if the user does not unlock the screen within 5 seconds of undocking the device, a loud alarm will sound continuously.
- Panic button module: hold down the panic button for 5 seconds and the phone will send emergency SMS to predefined numbers and call the Emergency number

It currently uses ADB, so you will need to enable "USB debugging" in order to connect to the accessory. ADK support coming soon.

If you love launching favorite apps with a swipe, you will also love to contact people, switch running tasks/apps with a single swipe, and that's exactly what this add-on brings to you.

Dynamic Pads will enable 3 automatically filled pads:
1. Frequently contacted
2. Recently contacted
3. Recent tasks

★ With a single swipe (touch down, move, release), you could open quick contact window or switch to another running app.
★ Hold and release on a slot will let you edit the contact or give you context options of your recent task: force close/uninstall what you are running, going to an app's market page to give ratings and so on

Glass Slipper™ demonstrates realidcheck™ identity fraud detection services on camera-equipped mobile phones.

Using realidcheck ("reality check"), you take a photo of someone with your mobile, and the service tells you whether the person is who they claim to be, or a fraudster.

As a demonstrator, Glass Slipper is restricted to performing a realidcheck on only one person: you (the owner of the device).

Drawing upon the "Cinderella" folk tale (see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cinderella) as a metaphor, many people may try the Glass Slipper, but it fits only one! The two outcomes it produces are either "The Shoe Fits" (photo is of you) or "Ugly Sister" (a fraudster).

Glass Slipper is just a bit of fun, but behind it lies serious intent.
