Personally, I find these too difficult - but I suppose it could be good practice for getting you to think about English.
5000 words for English language learners. These words were used in the American SAT exam. Its not an easy quiz, but good language practice.
You must guess the correct word from its meaning. Its not easy - even a native speaker of English will get most wrong! I have tried them myself! But its good practice at dealing with language. Just trying to guess the word is very good practice because it helps sort out which words you know and which you do not know.

Practice phrasal verbs in English language. These sentences are normal, modern and common. Students, seniors, business people, rock stars, scientists, bus drivers will all understand them. Beginners English learning. In this application we learn 65 forms of sentences in past, perfect, continuous, future, negative, modals.
They are very commonly used and this application has over 35 000 examples. After a while the tense patterns will appear to repeat themselves and you will have learnt them all.
Very good practice and something a book could not do.

Good for students of English language, teachers and children learning English.

You can listen to the sentences spoken out loud in an American accent or switch to an English accent.

Talking Sailing Compass (v. speaking n)

An android compass that speaks the direction that you point the device.
You can set a direction and it will shout at you how far off your course you are. It says - 'plus three turn left' meaning you are three degrees off your course and should turn left.
if you are a long way off your set course it will choose the  smallest turning angle to get you back on course.

I have not tested this in a boat so I do not know how good it is. Use it at your own risk  - no responsibility if you crash your boat.
Its best to get to know its limitations yourself. You need to keep the device (phone, tablet) that you use fairly horizontal or it gives bad results I think.
