IMPORTANT: A couple of notes regarding the app. Please keep them in mind, and then go on with the rest of the description.
1) In order to register for the FIRST time, you should first write your desired username and password, and ONLY THEN hit the Register button.
2) If you hit the register button with the username & password fields being blank, then you have just registered yourself with no username & password. Thus, hitting the login button will get you normally into the app.
3) In order to change your username & password you can go to the Settings page, inside the app, and reset them.
4) If you have locked yourselves out of the app (i.e. you forgot your credentials), then just uninstall the app and reinstall it back. It will reset your username/password.
4) If you have some kind of inquire when posting a comment, leave a way for me to contact you back. Otherwise, please send me an email directly, I have and I will respond to any emails I get from users.

AwaySMS is a feature rich application that allows users to automatically send a response via sms any time the user receives a call or a text while the app is active.

FAQ:
How do I set up and use email forwarding?
-  In order to use SMS email forwarding, the user must click "SMS Email Forwarding" in the "Settings" menu to view the settings for email forwarding.  The user must then enter in the email they wish the SMS messages to be forwarded and a valid GMail email and password.  Once these have been entered, the user must then check the box to enable SMS email forwarding.  As long as SMS email forwarding is enabled, the user has provided accurate settings, and AwaySMS is running, any received SMS messages will be forwarded to the provided email.

How do I set up and use custom contact group messages?
-  In order to use custom contact group messages, the user must open up the "AwaySMS By Contact" menu and check the box that enables custom AwaySMS replies for contact groups.  Once enabled, the user may enter in a new contact group by opening the "Contact Groups" menu and clicking the "New Contact Group" button.  Once this button has been pressed, the user must specifiy, the group name, the group message, and the contacts that should be added to the group.  When this has been done, the user must click the "Save" button for the changes to take effect.  A contact may only be in ONE group at a time.

How do I delete a contact group?
-  In order to delete a contact group, the user must open up the "Contact Groups" menu and locate the group in the list.  The user must then press and hold the group's name until a menu pops up giving the user the option to delete the group.

How do I set/remove a custom away message for a single contact?
-  In order to set a custom away message for a single contact, the user must open up the "AwaySMS By Contact" menu and check the box that enables custom AwaySMS replies for contacts.  Once that has been done, the user must press "Custom SMS Away Messages", which brings up a screen with every contact in the users phone listed alphabetically.  The user must find the desired contact in that list and click their name.  This will bring up a text box where the custom message can be typed.  If you are trying to remove the custom message, delete all text in this box.  Click "OK" for any changes to take effect.

In the second decade of the twenty-first century, networks continue to be defined by their stable topology represented in an image or graph. Peer-to-peer technologies promised new arrangements absent centralized control, but they still rely on stationary devices. Mobile phones remain wedded to conventional network providers.

Instead, the combination of peer-to-peer with mobility enables a new concept of an information transfer infrastructure that relies on fluid, temporary, ad-hoc networks. People and devices are at once implicated as mobile nodes in this network (known in computer science as a sneakernet).

Fluid Nexus is a demonstration of how one might design software to bypass Internet intermediaries' control over the identification and circulation of messages. It is a piece of interrogative software art, of a piece with other attempts to rework network topology such as the Eternal Network used by mail artists or projects such as Dead Swap or netless. We draw partial inspiration from the potential activist re-purposing of digital technologies without being subsumed by the same goals.

While Fluid Nexus is designed for non-Internet-based communications, we have also developed the Nexus, a space on this site for "public" messages to be automatically uploaded by any Fluid Nexus user. The Nexus includes text, audio, images, and video capabilities, and the original sender has control whether the message will become public or not. The Nexus extends the reach of the Fluid Nexus non-network beyond those using the software on their phone or laptop/desktop.

In the spring training of 2002, after batting .173 the previous year, Derek Bell was expected to compete for a starting job. However, he thought that he didn't need to, saying that "Nobody told me I was in competition. If there is competition, somebody better let me know. If there is competition, they better eliminate me out of the race and go ahead and do what they're going to do with me. I ain't never hit in spring training and I never will. If it ain't settled with me out there, then they can trade me. I ain't going out there to hurt myself in spring training battling for a job. If it is [a competition], then I'm going into "Operation Shutdown". Tell them exactly what I said. I haven't competed for a job since 1991.
