When used with the Orbot app, this web browser provides enhanced privacy features. Through Tor, it prevents somebody watching your Internet connection from learning what sites you visit, it prevents the sites you visit from learning your physical location, and it lets you access sites which are blocked. It also blocks cookies, keeps no local history, disables Flash, and requires only Internet permissions, keeping you safe from malicious content. Finally, beyond Tor, it can support any HTTP proxy server.

Good, but missing basic functions The privacy is there, but I lose basic functions such as zooming, selecting text, copy and paste, and whenever the screen rotates the page returns to the home page.

A few UI/UX problems... This app does what it says, but rotating returns to the home page, pinch-to-zoom doesn't work, and no tabs/right-click. Improve and I'll give it 5 stars!

Still major user interface problems Why does it request the page again when you rotate the phone, instead of just reformatting it? Why doesn't pinch-to-zoom work? Why is there no indicator showing whether a page is still loading? These are all pretty basic browser functionality. As soon as proxymob is compatible with the latest Firefox, I'm switching back.

URL will not load I have Tor installed on my home PC and am able to effectively browse to my secure domain address. However, this same URL will not load on my htc sensation (unrooted) mobile phone. I have the Tor Orbot app properly installed as well as the Orbot v2 app. Other web addresses load without issue on my mobile device but this one URL simply will not load. Any ideas??

Basic browsing rescue Does what we require if not all the things we might like. A few more features might be included with no harm done to the mission, however. Things like source inspection, easier and more elaborate navigation, IP-DNS data display - one could do many things and produce alternate feature lists. Still, this is a welcome app and much-appreciated work.

Average It does it's purpose very well, but it isn't working on any other browser so you should definitely work on your browser. You should at least add tabs/ forward and backward button or just make it compatible with other browsers, because this way, it's almost no use..

Deep web? I was under the impression that this, along with Orbot would allow me to access deep web. When I try to acces the hidden wiki, I get a 500 privoxy error :(
