《鹿鼎记》是香港作家金庸（查良镛）的最后一部长篇武侠小说作品。该小说于1969年－1972年间创作，背景设置在明末清初（1644年-1689年）。
    《鹿鼎记》小说名字的含义为：“逐鹿中原、问鼎中原”、“人为鼎镬，我为麋鹿”。小说以清代康熙年间的社会历史为背景，描写了一个出身于社会最底层的少年韦小宝的传奇经历。
    《鹿鼎记》中，金庸将虚构和历史人物混为一体，历史在金庸的笔下，要圆就圆，要方就方，随心所欲，无不如意。可以一本正经叙述史实，也可以随便开历史玩笑可以史实俱在，不容置辩；也可以子虚乌有，纯属游戏。
    《鹿鼎记》写一个一无所长的人，因缘附会，一直向上攀升的过程。但仔细看下来这个人又决不是一无所长，而是全身皆是本领。他的本领，人人皆有，与生俱来，只不过有的人不敢做，不屑做，不会做，不能做，而韦小宝都做了，无所顾忌，不以为错，所以他成功了。
　　从撒石灰迷人眼，遭茅十八痛打开始，韦小宝没有认过错，他坚决照他自己认为该做的去做。
　　这是金庸在《鹿鼎记》中表现的新观念，突破了一切清规戒律，将人性彻底解放，个体得到了肯定。甚至在男女关系的观念上，也释放得彻底之极，韦小宝一共娶了七个妻子之多。
　　反英雄，反传统，反束缚，《鹿鼎记》可以说是一部“反书”。
　　宣人性，宣自我，宣独立，宣快乐，《鹿鼎记》又不折不扣，是一部“正书”。
    《鹿鼎记》在金庸作品之中，排名第一。

Do you have trouble understanding some of your Australian friends? Are you heading Down Under for a holiday? If so, then you may need help understanding some of the unique Australian phrases. Aussie translator contains meanings of many of the common Australian slang phrases, as well as a practical example of their use.

I have added audio files for 6 of the example phrases. If an audio file exists for an example phrase, a speaker icon will appear. Press on the icon to hear the phrase.  

Phrases with audio files can be displayed by selecting the "Display audio only" setting, or by searching for the following:

- “esky”
- “gutser”
- “snag”
- “beating”
- “thingummyjig”

If I receive enough interest, I may expand the audio file collection.

    《射雕英雄传》又名《大漠英雄传》，是“射雕三部曲”之一，下接《神雕侠侣》《倚天屠龙记》。这部小说历史背景突出，场景纷繁，气势宏伟，具有鲜明的“英雄史诗”风格；在人物创造与情节安排上，它打破了传统武侠小说一味传奇，将人物作为情节附庸的模式，坚持以创造个性化的人物形象为中心，坚持人物统帅故事，按照人物性格的发展需要及其内在可能性、必然性来设置情节，从而使这部小说达到了事虽奇人却真的妙境。
    翻开整部射雕，人物众多，民族矛盾伴随着江湖恩怨，纵横交错，波澜壮阔。这些矛盾是通过郭靖的成长，从郭靖出生到郭靖成长为一代大侠的过程展开的。《射雕英雄传》，可以说是为郭靖立传，或者是一部关于郭靖的传说。我个人认为与其说《射雕英雄传》是关于郭靖的传奇，不如说是关于郭靖和黄蓉两个人的传奇。整个故事失去了郭靖，故事结构和框架会坍塌，但失去了黄蓉，也不成为故事。因为郭靖和黄蓉是密不可分的。更确切地说，《射雕英雄传》是关于郭靖和黄蓉两个人的江湖。
