나도향 (羅稻香) (1902년 3월 30일 한성부 ~ 1926년 8월 26일)은 일제 강점기의 한국 소설가이다. 본명은 경손(慶孫)이며 필명은 빈(彬)이다.

서울에서 출생하였으며, 배재학당을 졸업하고 경성의학전문학교를 중퇴한 뒤 일본에 건너가 고학으로 공부하였다.
1922년 《백조》의 창간호에 소설 《젊은이의 시절》을 발표하여 문단에 등장하였다.
이상화, 현진건, 박종화 등과 함께 백조파라는 낭만파를 이루었다.
이듬해 동아일보에 장편 《환희》를 연재하여 19세의 소년 작가로 문단의 주목을 받게 된다.
이 때부터 작품 경향을 바꾸어 자연주의적 수법이 보이기 시작했으며, 1925년 《여명》 창간호에 《벙어리 삼룡이》를 발표하였는데, 한국 근대 문학사상 가장 우수한 단편 중의 하나로서 평가받고 있다.
그는 날카로운 필치로 많은 작품을 써서 천재 작가로 알려졌으나 폐병으로 인해 25세의 젊은 나이로 죽었다.

이상(李箱, 1910년 9월 14일 ~ 1937년 4월 17일)

한국의 근대 작가이다. 본명은 김해경(金海卿)이다.

※생애
1910년 서울에서 이발업에 종사하던 부 김연창(金演昌)과 모 박세창(朴世昌)의 장남으로 출생하여, 1912년 부모를 떠나 아들이 없던 백부 김연필(金演弼)집에서 장손으로 성장하였다.
그는 백부의 교육열에 힘입어 신명학교, 보성고등보통학교, 경성고등공업학교 건축과를 거쳤고 졸업 후에는 총독부 건축과 기수로 취직하였다.
1931년 처녀시 〈이상한 가역반응〉, 〈BOITEUX·BOITEUSE〉, 〈파편의 경치〉 등을 《조선과 건축》지에 발표했고 1932년 단편소설 《지도의 암실》을 '조선'에 발표하면서 비구(比久)라는 익명을 사용했으며, 시 〈건축무한육면각체〉를 발표하면서 ‘이상(李箱)’이라는 필명을 처음으로 사용했다.
1933년 3월 객혈로 총독부 건축기수직을 사임하고 백천온천으로 요양을 떠났다가 기생 금홍(본명 연심)을 만나게 되어, 후에 서울로 올라와 금홍과 함께 다방 '제비'를 운영하게 되었다.
이때부터 그는 폐병에서 오는 절망을 이기기 위해 본격적으로 문학을 시작했다.

이상의 필명에 대해서는 조선총독부에서 건축기사로 근무시,현장의 일본인들이 그를 "이씨"란 의미로 "李さん(이상)"이라고 부르던 것에서 유래되었다는 설이 널리 알려져 있다.
그러나 그림에 재주가 뛰어난 이상이 디자인한 고교의 졸업 앨범에 이상이라는 서명이 있어, 건축기사 근무 이전에 이미 이상이란 필명을 쓰고 있었음이 밝혀졌다.

이태준(李泰俊, 1904년 11월 4일 ~ ? )
한국의 소설가이다. 아호는 상허(尙虛), 별명은 한국의 모파상이다.

생애
일제강점기 활동
1904년 강원도 철원군에서 태어났다. 휘문고등보통학교를 거쳐 일본 상지대학교에서 수학했다.
1925년 단편 〈오몽녀〉로 데뷔하였으며, 잡지 《개벽》 등 여러 언론사에서 기자로 일하면서 구인회 동인과 문학잡지 《문장》 출간 등으로 순문학 계열에서 활동했다.
작품의 경향은 지식인의 고뇌를 그린 작품이 많고, 세련된 문장으로 1930년대 소설계를 대표하는 작가이다. 특히 단편 소설의 완성도가 높다하여 한국의 모파상이라고도 불린다.
1930년대에는 조선중앙일보 기자로 활동, 이상의 천재성에 주목해 그에게 시를 쓸 것을 권유하였다. 당시 조선중앙일보 사장 여운형에게 부탁해서 이상의 시를 신문에 내도록 도와주었는데그렇게 해서 나온 시가 오감도이다.
박태원과 조용만 등 비롯하여 절친한 구인회 동료들이 친일 작품을 창작하던 일제 강점기 말기에는 낙향하여 철원에 거주하면서 작품 활동을 하지 않아, 친일행적 논란에서 자유로운 많지 않은 작가들 중 하나이다.

광복 이후 활동
광복 후에는 조선프롤레타리아예술가동맹의 경향파 문학과는 거리를 두었던 이전까지의 작품 경향과는 달리 조선문학가동맹과 민주주의민족전선 등 좌파 계열에서 활동했으며, 한국 전쟁 이전인 1946년 경에 월북하였기에 이후 북한에서의 행적이나 세상을 떠난 시기가 분명히 알려지지 않았다.
북한에서 이태준은 김일성을 영웅화 하라는 노동당의 지시를 정면으로 비판,거부했다는 이유로 숙청당한것으로 알려졌다.
1956년 경 숙청되어 함경남도, 강원도로 좌천되었다는 설이 있으며, 사망 시기도 1960년대부터 1980년대까지 다양한 설이 있다. 2000년대 들어 탈북 작가인 최진이가 이태준의 딸들이 쓴 일기를 보았다며 이들의 가족사를 증언한 바 있다.
현재까지 대한민국에 알려진 그의 마지막 행적은 66살이던 1969년 강원도 장동탄광 노동자 지구에서 사회보장으로 부부가 함께 살고 있는 모습밖에 알려져 있을뿐이다.
생가는 소실되었으나 생가터가 철원의 민간인 통제 구역 내에 소재하고 있으며, 서울에서 거주하던 성북구의 자택은 서울시 민속자료 제11호로 지정되어 있다. 지금은 1999년 외종손녀 조상명이 1933년 이태준이 지은 당호인 수연산방을 내걸고 찻집을 열었다.

A Book of Shadows is a book containing religious texts and instructions for magical rituals found within the Neopagan religion of Wicca. Originating within the Gardnerian tradition of the Craft, the first Book of Shadows was created by the pioneering Wiccan Gerald Gardner sometime in the late 1940s or early 1950s, and which he utilised first in his Bricket Wood coven and then in other covens which he founded in following decades. The concept of the Book of Shadows was then adopted by other Wiccan traditions, such as Alexandrianism and Mohsianism, and with the rise of books teaching people how to begin following Wicca in the 1970s onward, the idea of the Book of Shadows was then further propagated amongst solitary practitioners unconnected to earlier traditions.

Initially, when Wicca was still dominated by covens, "only one copy [of the Book] existed for an entire coven, kept by the high priestess or high priest. That rule has proved unfeasible, and it is [now] commonplace for all Witches to have their own copies."[1] In the various traditions that make up British Traditional Wicca, copies of the original Book composed by Gerald Gardner with the aid of his High Priestess Doreen Valiente, along with alterations and additions that have been made since then, is followed by adherents. They have tried to keep the contents of this Book a secret, although it has been published on a number of occasions by figures such as Charles Cardell, Lady Sheba and Janet and Stewart Farrar. In other Wiccan traditions and amongst a number of solitary practitioners, alternate versions of the Book have been written that are independent of Gardner's original.

Numerous associations and traditions have since grown up around the Book of Shadows. Traditionally, "a Witch's book of shadows is destroyed upon death."[2] The concept of the Book of Shadows has subsequently appeared in popular culture, for instance being utilized in the American television series Charmed and providing the title of films, musical albums and comics, however in all these cases it was taken out of its original Wiccan context.
