About automatic airplane mode:
"Automatic airplane mode" is an optional setting which means that the device will enter Airplane mode when the application starts. All antennas will be disabled and the device will not be able to make phone calls or receive phone calls.

This function is completely optional and removes the risk of being called to during competition/practice. When the application is closed by pressing Back button or Menu -> Quit, the device will return to previous state.

About max brightness:
This option turns on full screen brightness within this app. It does not affect general brightness settings and other apps.

The Bmxcopenhagen App is the official Copenhagen guide for the UCI BMX World Championships 2011 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Here you will find everything you need before or during your visit to the BMX Worlds 2011.
The application contains a wealth of useful information. Both useful event and tourist info. For instance: Daily news updates from the Worlds, Event Schedule, Race Info, Bike Jargon, Info about Riders, What to see, Where to eat and drink, Where to stay, How to get around etc.
Social media is a crucial part in the communication of the UCI BMX World Championships. Therefor we have integrated the Bmxcopenhagen App with our Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and Youtube accounts.
By pushing the Facebook button you will access the ‘UCI BMX World Championships 2011 Copenhagen’ group. Here you’ll get constant update and be able to communicate with us and other BMX enthusiasts. Flickr will show loads of pictures from Copenhagen, Denmark and cool race pics. On Twitter you’ll get regular info and informal snippets from the Worlds 2011. Last but not least you can directly access our channel on Youtube to watch all our cool movies related to the Worlds 2011.
The mobile application is free of charge but you have to pay for the data traffic. We recommend WIFI when available.
