Walk Me is an advanced and versatile, yet easy to use, pedometer.

Walk Me's main features are:
-Keeps track of:
  *How many steps you have taken
  *How long distance you have walked
  *How many calories you have burned
  *Your average speed (not in free version)
  *The time you have walked
-Keeps daily statistics which can be browsed freely and exported to a text file (free version saves only 5 days)
-The creature, which you can make happy by walking
-Customizable interface
-Works in the background*

*Note that some devices and versions of Android turn off the accelerometer when the screen is turned off. If your phone happens to be one of these, screen must be kept on. Walk Me will not work in standby on these devices.

Talking Sailing Compass (v. speaking n)

An android compass that speaks the direction that you point the device.
You can set a direction and it will shout at you how far off your course you are. It says - 'plus three turn left' meaning you are three degrees off your course and should turn left.
if you are a long way off your set course it will choose the  smallest turning angle to get you back on course.

I have not tested this in a boat so I do not know how good it is. Use it at your own risk  - no responsibility if you crash your boat.
Its best to get to know its limitations yourself. You need to keep the device (phone, tablet) that you use fairly horizontal or it gives bad results I think.

This Ben Crane Daily Stats app is produced by Infinite Monkeys.

We're basically just a couple of sports fans like you, with our own day jobs, but were frustrated by the big name corporate sports apps that were out there, so we decided to see if we could do better.

Then, one day while we were overlanding deep in the jungles of Borneo we came across a tribe of monkeys madly typing manuscripts on old manual typewriters next to a crashed and rusted out old WWII plane. We were amazed by what they were doing and showed them the iPad that we had with us. Well, one thing led to another and today Infinite Monkeys LLC is putting out a whole library of kick a$$ free apps.

We hope you like this one, and we're VERY open to any suggestions you have on how we can make it better.  We'll try to integrate whatever we can. Bare in mind please that the apps are free and we only earn from the ads, but we'll try to dedicate whatever we can to make this one, one of your very favorite apps.

Using this application, or this widget, is an easy way to know your FIDE change rating. You will be able to calculate your new ELO FIDE after a single chess game, or after a tournament.
And to go further, you can also calculate your performance in a tournament.

Calculations are based on the FIDE rules.
