Pooka Universal is not a game.  Pooka Universal is a board game assistant to keep score in games such as Spades, Hearts, Carcassonne, Puerto Rico, Scrabble, Monopoly and many others.

Pooka Universal is a generic Pooka module that supports three different categories and turn-based scoring.

The first category allows changes of +1 and -1.

The second category allows changes of +5, +3, +1, -1, -3 and -5.

The third category supports changes of +10, +5, +1, -1, -3 and -10.

Pooka modules require the free Pooka core app. You can find the Pooka core here in the marketplace. Alternatively the module will prompt you to download Pooka when you first start.

You can also browse existing games, launch new games and manage your friends list.

This can be a resource intensive application and may run slowly on some devices.

Performance issues have been found on devices such as the HTC Wildfire, upgraded HTC G1, and Vodafone 845. These devices appear to not support the required OpenGL hardware for the dynamic blood splatter effects, and thus perform poorly.

This simple Augmented Reality (AR) app lets you shoot holes in the world around you, saving the images to your phone so you can celebrate that perfect headshot... or crotchshot... or whatever it is you're aiming for.

Aim with your crosshairs and press the camera button, the center button on the directional pad or the crosshairs on the screen to fire. After each shot, an image appears to show what part of your target you hit. The images are automatically saved to the phone and are viewable in the Gallery. The size of these pictures is automatically determined by the phone's screen resolution.

Snake 11 (v. 1.1.3)

This game is based on the Android code sample "Snake", but goes way beyond it - hence it's not "Snake 2" but "Snake 11". In particular:

- Choose one of 5 different speed levels
- Choose one of 5 different field sizes
- It has a progression of 12 increasingly difficult to navigate mazes
- After each apple that is eaten, the snake gets either longer or faster, where faster snakes score higher than longer snakes
- A permanent list of the top 10 high scores is kept
- Various sound effects are used (this can be turned off)
- The current score is displayed during the game (this too can be turned off)

The snake is manoeuvered by turning its head left or right; this can be done by tapping on the left or right side of the display, or -if a physical keyboard is present- through the Left/Right keys. The Up key (or a tap anywhere on the playing field) starts the game (and each higher level subsequently). A running game can be paused using the Back key, and that key will also reset an already paused game.

The problems with the earlier versions are now fixed, and a hardware keyboard is no longer required to play this game (although it's easier than using the touchscreen).

Snake 11 contains no ads, and requires no permissions.
