If your have a problem with this app on your device, please include your device and Android version in your comment, and if it's a performance issue, reporting the frame rate for problematic lanes is helpful (there is a frame rate display option in the options menu). Note that some lanes are more resource-intensive than others, e.g. the High Seas lane is particularly physics-intensive and the Tokyo lane is particularly graphics-intensive.

Classic arcade action with fresh visuals!

NOTE: This game is still very much a work in progress! See the bottom of this description for planned future releases!

This is the ad supported version of Missile Defense. Find the ad free version, Missile Defense Pro, in the Android Market.

Take the reigns as Supreme Commander of your military forces, tasked with holding off the complete and utter destruction of your planet. As the last line of defense, you must defend the planet from endless waves of missiles that steadily increase in numbers and speed.

Tap the screen to trigger explosions in front of inbound missiles in order to destroy them before they destroy the 3 major population centers located on the surface of the planet.

Press your device's option button for options and to pause the game. You can also press the back button in order to pause.

Basic Instructions:
--------------------

Press 'Buy' Button to spend your 'Energy' (which is gained by killing creeps) on new towers.

Towers can only be placed on planets or asteroids, not in open space. (Hint: Place on edges of planets, near the path of creeps)

Path of creeps is not marked out, they will almost always follow the same path (for now), so observe the first wave carefully. Stop them from reaching earth!

Tower types:

Cost 10 - Turret - Medium Rate, Medium Attack

Cost 25 - Lazer - Fast Rate, Low Attack (better for fast creeps)

Cost 50 - Radar - No attack, Detects Stealth aliens, put in front of group of attacking towers

Cost 100 - Super Tower - Low Rate, High Attack, Chance of Warping alien back to beginning. Also can see and attack stealth creeps, but does not reveal them.

Upgrades- Increase all stats of tower (attack, range, firing rate) - Touch a tower for upgrade menu

Lives: Obviously if more than 20 aliens get through your defences and to earth, it's GAME OVER, and your incompetence has caused the extinction of humanity...

Energy: Needed to purchase upgrades and new towers, gained from killing creeps

Zoom Button: zooms in and out, to get an overview of the whole map, or focus on an area around your ship

Your Ship: That rotating 3 sphere thing, is your remote drone: touch anywhere on the screen and it will go there to give you a view of the area. Just an observer, does not attack.
