*** STOPPED WORKING? You probably had an Android OS update, just reset the app (middle option in the menu) and restart the app. It will work again!  ***

A simple yet beautiful and very useful Flashlight app that uses the LED light of the camera. Many devices are supported, some even with two levels of brightness.

Please have a look on the webpage for a list of tested devices.

If your devices is not supported the screen will turn white.

*PLEASE* use the email option from within the apps menu if you want to get in contact with me.

Features:
- turn on light on start
- don't turn off light on quit
- keep screen alive
- full screen mode
- two brightness levels, only on HTC devices
- tip or swipe to change brightness
- screen turn white when device is not supported
- information dialog shows you the support level of your device
- reset application settings
- send email to me from within the app (recommended option to contact me or comment the app)

As I only have one real devices to test on, it might be possible that this app doesn't work for your device.

If you don't have Android 2.2, please try again after the update.

If your device is not listed on the apps website, please let me know if the app works or not. The best way for this is also to use the email option from the apps help menu and to add some additional information.

Also if you want me to let you know as soon as your device is supported too, drop me an email from the app help menu.

Network status - to determine if internet is available

Oktoberfest Map (GPS) (v. 1.3)

As essential as the Lonely Planet for backpackers, the Hitchhiker's Guide for Ford Prefect and a seamap for Pirates, so is this little app for every Oktoberfest visitor.

This app is developed by an experienced Oktoberfest-goer and will help you to enjoy your visit at the Oktoberfest. Read further to see how.

You can see a zoomable map of the Oktoberfest (Wiesn) Festival Area in Munich showing streetnames and all other essential informations that you will need, like where to get money, beer and how to get to the metro, tram, sbahn or cab to get home.

You can save your HOME GPS coordinates in the app and later in the evening you can tell the app to show your home location in Google Maps, or if you want to walk, the app will show you the root to your home location in Google Maps. (This feature needs Google Maps installed.)

You can also locate yourself via GPS in the festival area, just for the case that you have lost your orientation. Happens to the best.

You can send your location information via sms and email to a friend, so you both can meet.  If your friend has an Android phone or is on a PC, he will be able to open Google Maps and locate you easily. He does NOT need to have this app.

But now the most important feature: you can tell the app to open Google Maps with the fastest route from your current location to the Oktober Fest. If  this is not esssential, I don't know what is.

A simple app that enables you to use the cameras L.E.D. light, on some devices even two brightness levels.

Not all devices are supported.
