More details: Text recognizer uses OCR (optical character recognition) technology for all latin based languages through Google Docs, Spell Checker for the recognized text and translate the recognized text to more than 50 languages and all supported languages in Google translate. The application makes use of internet connection and possess proxy configuration setting with username and password authentication. It allows also the user to save his results on his Google Docs account by providing the username and password of his Google account. The user has the option of selecting the source language, the target language, whether to include spell-checker service and whether to save the results on the Google account. The user just needs to take a picture of a printed text and be connected to the internet and within few seconds he will get the translation as an output. In case there was no correct recognition, a pop up message is shown to the user indicating that No Text was recognized, and the user can try again.
