This is a free and ad-free application that requires no special permissions.  Quizzn World Capitals is a fast-paced quiz/flashcards application to teach you the names of world capitals in English.   Choose to be quizzed either on the name of the capital, with four countries to choose from; or the opposite, being quizzed on a country, with four capitals to choose from.  The application keeps track of your progress, and tailors the quiz to ask you what you don’t already know.  So if you answer correctly on the first try, then you won’t be quizzed on that particular capital again.  If you miss it on the first try, the capital stays in the “deck” until you’ve answered it correctly twice.  Capitals are separated into categories by continent/region.  

Countries that are part of a larger kingdom (e.g., Scotland, Wales)  are included.  States where the name of the capital is the same as the country itself are not (sorry, Luxembourg).  If you can make it all the way through to 100% in the “Islands” category, I’m impressed!

Quizzn Spanish is a free, ad-free, open source flashcard/quiz application to learn Spanish language vocabulary.  Choose from word categories, and then choose whether you want the quiz word in English or in Spanish.  Four options of other words are presented, only one of which is the right answer.  The application shows your progress in each category (for recognizing the quiz words in English, and for recognizing it in Spanish).  If you answer the correct word, you are not quizzed on it again.  If you miss a word, it stays in the deck of cards that you are quizzed on until you’ve identified it correctly two times.

This free version of the application contains vocabulary lists in the following categories:  Anatomy, Emotions, Food, Kitchen Items, Medical, Money, and Occupations.    

This app contains no ads, and does not need access to your location, nor any privacy settings.   Please report any bugs or suggestions to joe@xenotropic.net.  If you have a "force close," it is helpful to know when exactly it happened.  Source code is at: https://github.com/xenotropic/quizzn. Quizzn Spanish es un aplicación cuestionario gratis, sin anuncios, para aprender vocabulario Inglés. Elija entre categorías de palabras, y elija si desea que la palabra cuestionario en Inglés o en Español. Cuatro opciones de palabras se presentan, pero sólo una es la respuesta correcta. La aplicación muestra su progreso en cada categoría del concurso (para el reconocimiento de las palabras cuestionario en Inglés, y tambien por reconocerque en español). Si su respuesta es la palabra correcta, no se interrogó sobre ella otra vez. Si se olvida de la palabra, se queda en el mazo de cartas que son interrogados, hasta que usted lo ha identificado correctamente dos veces.

Esta versión gratuita de la aplicación contiene listas de vocabulario en las siguientes categorías: Anatomía, Emociones, Alimentos, Artículos de Cocina, Medicina, Finanzas, y Ocupaciones.
