This player will download and play music files stored on your home computer.
None of your music files gets uploaded anywhere except your Android Device.
Main features are:
1. Downloads (3G, WiFi) and plays your music from your home computer.
2. Creates dynamic (smart) playlists. Playlist grows while playing. The more songs you have in your library the better and bigger playlists are;
3. Supports media formats (without DRM protection): MP3, WMA, FLAC, OGG, WAV, AAC, APE, WavPack, CUE Sheet files;
4. Supports 16, 24, and 32 bit audio files;
5. Supports 44.1, 48, 96, and 192 KHz audio files;
6. Caches music on your Android device for playing offline. Media files stored on device are in MP3 format;
7. 5 sets of music quality settings. Encoding is done in ABR with bitrate based on quality settings selected: 100, 130, 160, 190, 230 Kb/s;
8. Cross-fade between songs in "Shuffle" Mode, and "Mix Playlist" Mode;
9. Gapless playback for Albums;
10. Supports libraries with unlimited number of tracks;
11. Big buttons and list rows for safer operations while driving.
HomeDJ Player contains two parts:
1. Android HomeDJ application installed on your Android device;
2. HomeDJ Server application installed on your home computer. This application must be installed on your home computer for HomeDJ Player to access your music collection. Visit http://www.homedj.net to download latest version of HomeDJ Server application.
You would have to register to use HomeDJ music player. Registration is required for central server to locate your home computer from Android device. Once you registered, you will receive e-mail with a link to download HomeDJ Server (Windows only) and instructions how to install and configure HomeDJ Streaming Server software on your home computer.
