AutoBT is an Android based app that will help you conserve battery life by AUTOMATICALLY switching on the Bluetooth of your phone when you receive an incoming call or initiate an outgoing call. Once the call has ended AutoBT will turn the Bluetooth back off. If you have turned on the Bluetooth manually AutoBT will leave the Bluetooth on until you turn it back off manually. This is to prevent disconnecting the Bluetooth during data transfers or other activities that you may want to leave Bluetooth enabled. You can also manually disable AutoBT from the options panel shown in the screen shots. AutoBT has been tested on Android 2.1 and 2.2 devices. BEFORE you purchase, please see the "Pretest Instructions" section below to determine if AutoBT will work for you.

NOTE:
AutoBT will turn on your Bluetooth almost instantly, but it may take your headset or other Bluetooth device a few seconds to actually connect. The time required may also vary from device to device.

PRETEST INSTRUCTIONS:
BEFORE downloading AutoBT (or any Automatic BT enabling app for that matter) test to make sure that your phone and headset can sync fast enough for an auto-switcher to even work. To check this, make sure that your headset is on and that BT is disabled on your phone. Get your phone ready to manually enable the BT without actually enabling it. Call your phone from another phone and manually enable to BT on your cell. If the headset does not sync fast enough to be useful with this manual method then there is NO AUTO BT enabling app on the market that can fix this since the issue is between the phone and headset.
