Services like OnStar, MyLink, etc. are great... but if you don't have them available in your car, this application will help you out. This program watches your phone for sudden movements, and if it's jostled, your location will be sent to a phone number of your choice via an SMS text message. Best of all, there is NO monthly service charge to use the software. The program works best with GPS running so we can calculate your exact location (instead of estimating by using nearby cell towers). If GPS is off, you must have network data on so we can figure out your location based on cell tower positioning. NOTICE: On some phones, the manufacturer locks the accelerometer when the phone is locked/goes to sleep. If your phone does this, then this app will work for you only when the phone is active (we cannot override the settings on your phone).

This application strives to improve your vehicle's fuel economy by monitoring your acceleration and braking patterns while you drive. Simply enable your GPS, start up the application, and start driving. As you go, the application will give off buzzes to let you know when you are driving too aggressively (one buzz is a bad acceleration, two short buzzes represent that you hit the brakes too hard). The goal is to train you so you drive in a manner that will cut down on fuel usage and save you money. NOTE: This application works only as good as the GPS on your device, so nearby structures can hinder the GPS signal.
