A must have for any rooted phone! Almost EVERY rooted applications needs BusyBox to perform their magic, if you have a rooted phone then you need BusyBox.

Pro version contains no ads or nag screens, uninstall feature, custom tune feature, the ability to hand pick the applets you want, safety check for missing applets on start, and better overall support. The pro version will receive more frequent updates than the free version will. Eventually some of the features and improvements will make their way to the free version but not all of them will. This installer has the smallest Busybox binaries available, right around 700kb unlike the other installers which are over a meg. Also this installer does not require you to download anything extra like other installers do and thus works much faster.

BusyBox is a software application that provides many standard Unix tools, much like the larger (but more capable) GNU Core Utilities. BusyBox is designed to be a small executable for use with the Linux kernel, which makes it ideal for use with embedded devices. It has been self-dubbed "The Swiss Army Knife of Embedded Linux".

This version includes 1.19.3, 1.19.2, 1.17.1, 1.18.4, and 1.18.5 no need to have more than that because it takes up space on your phone and each newer version will still contain the older features, unless I forgot to compile them in.

Leave this installed if you always want to get the latest version of busybox!

Fix Permissions (v. 1.0)

Fix Permissions Requires Root Access.
Fix permissions should do the same thing the script does which is available in almost all recoveries, The benefit to this app is that you don't need to reboot into recovery mode to fix those apps that are FC.

I will be adding a fix all option here soon.

Description:

Sometimes flashing roms, playing with permissions, or performing other root operation can cause the Android system to forget which UID is associated with an application. In reality it does not forget this, it just issues the app a new id and is oblivious to the fact that it already had an id. When this occurs some apps can start force closing due to the UID mismatch between the UID that the system has assigned to the app and the UID that owns that apps data directory.

This app will resolve these problems. If you have an app constantly force closing you can try using this app to see if it will resolve the issue. Simply select an app in the list below and I will do the rest :)

Permissions Denied (v. 1.3)

This app Requires Root Access!

This app will not work on all devices!

I think it depends mainly on your ROM...not sure yet.
Anyways, just try it out, reboot, and check to see if its still active. What's happening is the app is making the changes but the phone is restoring the permissions on each boot. Sadly there is nothing I can do about this.

There is a donate version as well, if you'd like to donate for my time :)

How is this different from Privacy Blocker?
1) Permissions is free.
2) Permissions is open source.
3) Permissions does not break market updates for apps that you deny permissions to.
4) Permissions has no reported FC yet?
5)Did I mention Permissions is free?

So, basically, Permissions allows you to effectively control the permissions that apps which are installed onto your phone, via the market or some other source.

You must reboot before these changes take place and be aware that denying an app a permission that it is requesting may result in the app Force Closing.

Remount (v. 1.1)

This is a very simple app, all it does is remount the select mount point as RW or RO.

I wrote this because some apps have problems remounting partitions as RW and thus do not work as a result. By Remounting the appropriate mount point an app that did not work, can suddenly begin to work.

Anyways, very simple. There is a Donate version on the market if you would like to donate for this work. This version and the donate version are the exact same for now.

This is CodeSpeak for the Archos 5. It allows you to translate text to binary, hex, and SteriSpeak and back to regular text.

This app will only run on the Archos 5!
