*** Please email shell@shellware.com if you have sensor problems. Especially if you're using a tablet. I'm attempting to cover as many devices as possible ***
Visit the Shellware website (http://www.shellware.com) for information on how to configure your AR.Drone and Android phone to communicate with one another. A very easy to follow guide has been developed, coupled with a special piece of software, that enables ANY Android 2.1+ phone to control an AR.Drone (certains assumptions made -- hardware gfx acceleration, decent cpu, etc)
Augmented Reality Professional Controller Front-end for the Parrot AR.Drone ( ARDrone ) quadcopter flying computer. Features Full Motion control, object following and tracking, management of all AR.Drone configuration data, and the ability to use your phone's azimuth axis (compass) to control the Yaw function of the AR.Drone.
Check out http://exop.pro/blog/2010/08/15/ad-hoc-support-for-android/ if you are currently unable to adhoc enable your phone/tablet and don't want to apply the Infrastructure Patch.
Use at your own risk. Author provides no warranty, written, or implied.
Known Issues - Disable Automatic Network Time Updates AR.Pro will crash (bug in the native library) Located in Android Settings->Date & Time - Do not pair to your drone if you're using a Hotspot built into your phone. AR.Pro uses the WIFI mac address which is different from Hotspot one - Parrot has stated that Wi-Fi config changes will likely void your warranty. Proceed at your own risk
