This App will speak 15 minute US delayed stock quotes for up to 5 selected symbols. The Symbol, Last Price, and Change will be displayed, as well as spoken. It will only speak once per invocation, although more recent quotes can be obtained (without speaking) by rotating the phone to landscape.

The desired symbols can be entered via the menu item, and must be valid US stock symbols delimited by a space. Upon initial install the symbol IBM will be the default. The App will only display and speak the first 5 symbols entered.

No representation as to the timeliness or accuracy of the stock quotes is implied.

This App toggles the ringer between normal and silent. The selected ringer status is displayed briefly as a Toast pop up message. If vibrate setting is on, the phone will vibrate when silent. If vibrate setting is off, the phone will neither ring nor vibrate when silenced. The new settings "vibrate only when silent" and "vibrate only when not silent" behave as though vibrate were on or off respectively.

This app is designed as a convenience to enable "one touch" ringer toggle, and to enable voice activated ringer disable even on a locked keyboard.

Speaks and displays 15 minute delayed stock quotes obtained from Yahoo. (US stock markets only) The space-delimited list of stock symbols is user definable, and optional fields are also user selected and displayed in landscape mode only. The portrait mode displays (and speaks) the Symbol, Price, and Price Change, not the optional fields.

This app is designed to be "hands free" and launched via voice command (using 3rd party voice command app). It only speaks the current quotes once per invocation and is tested to work on a screen locked device.

If launched on a locked device, the app terminates after speaking unless the device is unlocked before the app terminates. If launched from the screen, the app remains active until terminated, but will only speak once.

No representation as to the timeliness or accuracy of the quotes is implied. The app depends on Yahoo.com for quotes and may cease working if that service changes or becomes unavailable.
