This is a useful Hebrew to English and English to Hebrew translator / dictionary / milon for the Android. You can translate Hebrew by typing using our Hebrew keyboard and clicking translate. In addition, you can use the built in Android keyboard to translate from English to Hebrew. You don't even need to be Jewish to use this Rusty Brick app. :)

Since Google does not yet have a hebrew keyboard, we created one so you can type Hebrew and get translation. This application uses the Google Translate API and requires internet access to work.

This Android Menorah will show you how many candles to light for each day of the Jewish Holiday Chanukah (Hanukkah). It has a cute animation, that shows you which way to light, in accordance with the Ashkenaz customs. It also has the Chanukah prayers in Hebrew, English and Transliterated. The Shabbat Shalom - Candle Lighting Times application will allow you to quickly check the candle lighting times, havdalah times and parsha for the week in any location in the world. This comes in handy when you quickly want to know when Shabbos is or if you want to know if it is too late to call your in-laws in Israel. Just flip through the different cities and countries, to see what the local time is and what time they start or finish Shabbos.

Enjoy this free Jewish application.  The application requires an internet connection only when you use the search feature, to locate a location. Otherwise, it can run without an internet connection.
