MyLocation by email is an application that helps you to find your android device by sending you an e-mail containing the location map of where it is. You may use this to locate your car, your kids or anything you want. All you need is a smartphone or similar with GPS and Internet. After you install the application, just send "LOC" by sms (using any other device) to your phone and wait to receive the location map by e-mail.
