Rescue Pigeon is an application that utilizes the phones current Bluetooth technology to emit a distress signal if the phones user is ever stranded or stuck do to a natural disaster somewhere without sufficient enough cell phone coverage.Rescue pigeon is also equipped with a chat function that allows you to chat with your rescuer. Once you reach a secure area you can update your social networks (family friends) via Rescue Pigeon  with a pre-formatted message letting them know your alive and well and safe.
