This is an app to view the total sum of my medical student loans. I am a typical U.S. medical student that is about to graduate to internship, and my total student loan amount is overbearing.  I created this app to show potential applicants the typical amount of debt you will take on, as well as to inform the public about medical student debt. Most people are not aware of the true cost of medical education in this country, and many believe that doctors are overpaid. The newest generation of medical students is taking on more debt than ever, and has little chance of getting out of the huge mountain of student loans. We enter residency with this huge burden, and we work long hours for about $50,000 a year for several years.

By purchasing this app, you are donating money to be put towards my own student loans. I appreciate any and all donations, and hope this app will help me overcome my own student debt while educating the public.

TPA Eligibility (v. 1.0)

This is a very simple program that lists the criteria for giving a stroke patient IV tPA. This is simply a reminder of the criteria, and is not meant to determine if a patient qualifies. It is in checklist format with a clear button so you may go through the criteria individually to determine if a patient may qualify. This app was designed by a medical student, and I welcome any feedback for improvement. Thank you for downloading!

NIH Stroke Scale (v. 1.0)

This is a simple version of the NIH Stroke Scale, complete with question-by-question guidance as to the proper method of testing. Simply choose the button that best corresponds to the patient you are assessing. As you go through the selections, the score is automatically tallied. At the end, your patient's score will be displayed.

This app was designed by a medical student with experience in neurology but not in application development.  I welcome any feedback or suggestions for improvement.  Thank you for purchasing!
