This is a great game for you to practice your receptive American Sign Language (ASL) spelling skills. Test your skills with this fun new game for all ages!

With the My Smart Hands spelling game you can pick from two different play modes. You can either choose to type in your answer or select from a list. With the list option you can pick from two, three or four possible answers. This is terrific for younger children who are starting to recognize letters and words. Set the game to the list option with two answers and have your child have fun picking a 50/50 option. As your child grows and gets better you can set the game to three or four selections.

You can also choose your keyboard--the standard QWERTY layout, or an ABCDEF layout for children.

You can also set the game to play only three letter words, four letter words, five letter words or a combination of all words. Choose your speed from slow, medium, fast or expert. The game can grow with your learning needs. The better you become the harder you can set the game to test your skills. The game comes with over 1750 words to be tested from!

As a bonus, this game also comes with all of the letters of the alphabet to help you learn or review. The harder letters come with more than one view to help you accurately make the sign.

What is unique about this app is that it is a video dictionary that not only shows you the ASL signs, but also explains how to do them or gives you great memory tips on how to remember and understand them. The full app features over 45 minutes of instructional video from ASL instructor and My Smart Hands founder Laura Berg! This app was created by My Smart Hands (www.mysmarthands.com), an international baby sign language program with over 150 instructors in over 10 countries, under the direction of its founder Laura Berg. Laura has a BA in child studies, an M.Ed and a certificate in ASL and Deaf Studies. She is passionate about education and signing and has brought that passion to My Smart Hands.

Keep track of the signs you want to work on in your own favorites list, and arrange those signs in any order you like. We've included categories so you can quickly and easily find words that are related, like "food," "animals" and "daily routines." It comes with an easy search option, simply type in the word you are looking for and it will come up. And finally, the quiz portion will be great fun while you are learning all of the words in the MSH app. With our quiz you are able to customize the number of questions in the quiz from 3-5 (3-20 in the full version) and you can also customize the difficulty by picking from 2 or 3 answers (2 to 4 in the full version). At the end of the quiz you can check your scorecard, view the signs you missed, and even add them to your favorites to work on later!
