Leiden mobile shows you everything there is to do and see in the historical city of Leiden. Whether it is monuments, restaurants, theaters, museums or stores, you will have the information at your fingertips.  Add the locations to your favorites and you will also receive alerts when you are nearby. Leiden has nearly 2800 monuments. From hofjes to mills and from churches to city gates. No other city in the Netherlands has this many fantastic museums in walking distance from each other. The oldest theatre building in the Netherlands, the Leidse Schouwburg, is in Leiden. Leiden also has many special stores in a nice setting and is very suitable for a day out shopping. Take a break in one of the hundreds of restaurants, cafés or pubs. Many restaurants and cafés are settled in beautiful monuments, making the ambiance of eating out in Leiden a special occasion.

Go back in time with the Leiden Loop.  Watch and listen to historical stories about the city of Leiden which is the birthplace of the famous painter Rembrandt van Rijn.
The Leiden Loop takes you through a historic route through the city’s downtown.  You will have access to a map of all of the historical sites which include audio and video fragments. Additionally, you will automatically receive a notification once you are near a particular site along the route.
