PaySquare scans a specifically-defined QR Code and sends information to the PayPal app in order to make a payment.

http://zxing.appspot.com/generator can be helpful for creating QR Codes. Plain-text QR Codes encoded in a format similar to this will be accepted by PaySquare and forwarded to PayPal:
