특히 7단계로 글자의 크기를 조절할 수 있어 가독성을 높였습니다. 자동읽기기능 역시 기사를 간편하게 볼 수 있도록 도와줍니다.

메뉴바를 터치하시면 기사박스를 열고 닫을 수 있어 화면을 보다 효율적으로 사용하실 수 있습니다. 기사박스를 터치하시면 해당 기사의 본문이 열립니다. 기사박스를 좌우로 터치하시면서 다양한 기사를 선택하실 수 있습니다.

Hankook Ilbo articles available on Android phones

The Hankook Ilbo (hankooki.com), a leading daily published in Korea, presents our readers with a new mobile news service via Android phones.

Since its founding in 1954, the newspaper has maintained its independent nature. It is not one-sided. It always stands at the center of the nation.

The Hankook Ilbo's M initiative enables readers to gain access to articles published in print newspaper easily on the mobile devices.

In particular, readers can choose one of seven font sizes, a scheme to help enhance readability.

The Automatic Reading section helps read news articles comfortably.

If you enter the Menu Bar, you will be able to open or close the Box of Articles. If you touch this box, you can see the content of the article you select. Touching the screen from left to right in a sliding motion will display a variety of news articles.

The PDF section delivers a wealth of articles by page.

The Latest News section provides the latest news in real time. This section features the most recent issues that have not yet been reported in print newspapers.

The Android news service provides an array of categorized articles, including Politics, Economy, National, International, Culture, Entertainment, Sports, People and Opinion.

The M initiative will provide readers with a variety of content with a range of convenient functions.

The Korea Times, the country’s leading English language news outlet, has launched an expanded mobile service for its readers, which is now available for iPhone and Galaxy S smartphones, and Galaxy Tab and iPad tablet computers.

The Korea Times articles are displayed on the mobile devices just as they appear in the print version.

Once you enter the Android Market (T Store) or the App Store, you can download the Korea Times app, which can be found by typing koreatimes, or 코리아타임스 in Korean, in the search menu.

Subscribers using the iPhone and iPad are charged $1.99 per month or $20 annually, while subscription is free for the time being for users of the Galaxy S and Galaxy Tab.

The service features PDF, real-time latest news and Business, Nation, Specials, Opinion, Arts and Sports sections.

The Korea Times all-new M initiative will become your window to a whole new mobile world.
