Keep call/sms away from your wifes/husbands,they are moved in a secret menu
Install widget by pressing your home screen til a menu appear with Widgets,select CleanMyLog,a new green icon appear
Enter secret menu by calling *#*#6969#*#*
Set secret number exactly how it's displayed in the log
If new call/sms, icon turns red

Press Back to save config
Click on widget to enable(green)/disable(red) notifs
Unlock keyguard to delete notifs
Put your own beep on /sdcard/missnotify/beep.ogg

It saves your media volume presets into 3 profiles. To install the alsa(tested on Samsung GS)
- Update
- Rename update_mixget.zip to update.zip
- Reboot in recovery
Be careful when setting the alsa config if you dont want to hurt your ears ;)

Launch the Service Mode on Samsung Galaxy S (I9000) without typing the call sequence *#*# etc... Works also on Spica.
Warning: check if you are on rom s with the service mode installed.
