Synesthetic Din is an experiment in releasing an album as an app. The individual sounds have been composed from found noises in an urban environment. The composition of the sounds is determined by information being read in from the device camera.

This release contains 3 different "tracks," or sets of composed audio samples, which can be selected through the menu button.

OSColor is an OSC tool that analyses color data for use as a sound controller. The app takes the camera's image and sends the RGB values from three selected areas of the screen as OSC messages to the IP address and port defined in the preferences. The user selects the three areas of the screen to analyze.

OSC messages are sent as /android/r g b where r g and b are integers.

Tested on HTC G1, HTC G2 and DROID2
