FÁS Employment Services Employment Programmes are now Part of Department of Social Protection. We have reviewed all the feedback received from the customers on the Android Store and have updated Jobseeker App reflect some of the changes made based on the customer request and review’s. We are trying our utmost to offer new features on the App some features are possible and we have added those features on the jobseeker App. We hope to improve and offer more new features in the next version of the app.
New features:
Added new menu option on the App Added job count on the search result page Improved graphics and quality of the App Changed the home page and splash screen Logos Search for today’s listing straight from the home section, Option to save and delete jobs from the saved jobs menu button. Added Recent Jobs drop down menu option in search menu page Added predictive keywords on the search menu. Added previous and next Job option on the job detail page Search part time only option Option to ring or email the employers directly from your Android phone. Send job information by email or share it on Facebook and Twitter Check for eligibility for Work Placement programme, Internships and CE programme Fixed the Issue of Cope and Paste on Job Description page Added Links Page under the more menu button. Minor Bug Fixes Added important Links on the more menu such as : Career Directions: Career Directions is a careers matching program that provides you with career ideas and information, and lets you explore your own career options. Courses: Option to look at all the upcoming courses in all regions. Useful information: Important websites links in Ireland and links to other Social Security websites around the world. Job Seeker Pack: Jobseeker Pack has useful tips such as CV Preparation, Job Interview tips and Useful Websites. Labour Market Information: provides information on employment trends and the employment outlook for various occupations. It also provides information on other characteristics of those employed in each occupation - their age, gender, whether they are typically self-employed or employees, and whether they are typically working full-time or part-time.
