Book of Mormon - For Kids (v. 1.3.1)

This app provides accessibility to the kids storybook and video slideshow of "The Book of Mormon" by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints via Android smartphones.

This app is perfect for young kids who want to learn more about the gospel of Jesus Christ and study the scriptures.  It also works great for family home evening lessons! We have even been told of people showing the videos to their primary classes using Android tablets!

Each chapter can be viewed either in storybook format in which kids or parents can read scripture summaries or in video format in which scripture summaries are read aloud.  Internet/data plan is required.

At this time the app includes all stories from 1st Nephi to the end of the book of Alma. More chapters will be added with future updates at no additional charge! Next update is planned for mid November!

All images, stories, and videos are property of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and can be accessed for free at the church's website. No copyright infringement is intended. The developer's goal was to simply make these materials more accessible for the Android platform.

Programming these apps can be time consuming and we are currently asking for a $1.19 donation for the creation and continual building/maintenance of the app but not for the actual content which is owned by the church!

Monson, and that he leads and guides the church in these latter days!  It is imperative that we teach our children the gospel and help them understand the blessings that come from living it hence why I created this app- to help better teach my kids!

Do You See A Temple? LDS Game (v. 1.1.6)

"Do You See A Temple" is a fun LDS family game app in which players try to be first to press a button when a temple appears.  While playing the game, players learn more about the importance of the holy temple!  The game supports up to 4 players going head to head at one time and is a blast for members of all ages!  


This app is perfect for a family home evening lesson about temples.  During the game players will get acquainted with different temples of this dispensation and learn their locations.  The app also provides many interesting facts about temples and has links to various movies/resources for learning more about the importance of temples after the game!  While playing the game players also get the opportunity to hear songs about the temple!

The app even has four levels of difficulty to make it more challenging: easy, normal, hard, impossible ... oh and the impossible level really is nearly impossible! :)

So get the family together and play "Do You See A Temple."  It's a family home evening lesson and game all in one and prepared just for you.  (Although the dessert is not included!)

"Age of Empre: Acadeca Music" is an app is designed to help participants in the 2011-2012 Acadeca competition.  "The Age of Empire" is the theme for the 2011-2012 competition.  This app is a music quiz app that helps competitors quiz themselves and learn key concepts for the music portion of the competition.  While answering questions in the app competitors have the opportunity to listen to small clips of the actual songs in the competition.

This is the FULL version gives access to questions from twelve of the songs. App includes various 10-20 second clips of the songs in the competition.  The app also has nearly 200 questions with many more to come as we continue to update the app.  Please check out the LITE version of this app to see what it is all about.

AcaDecaDroid is a new way to study for Acadeca competitions!  Our goal is to provide mobile apps on the Android operating system that can be used to help students quiz themselves for the Acadeca.   AcaDecaDroid has plans to create many apps that will help competitors do better in the 2011-2012 competitions.

Heart Of Darkness: Quiz (v. 1.2)

The Heart of Darkness Quiz by AcaDecaDroid is a quiz application based on the 1899 Joseph Conrad novel "The Heart of Darkness."  The app has been developed to help quiz people about the novel.  AcaDecaDroid quizzes are also designed to help those wanting to know more for the 2011-2012 Acadeca competition.

Version 1.2 now contains over 350 questions about the novel and about the history of Joseph Conrad's life.  It also contains 5 additional links to free resources that can be used to study the novel.  

We plan more the release of even more questions with next update (ETA July 1st).  Questions can be accessed by chapter or at random.  Each question comes with feedback and support quotes from the novel.  The app also has some links to other free valuable resources. We are starting with an introductory price of $1!  Get it now before the next update!
