CloudSync synchronizes content directly between mobile devices and private cloud storage.  This model works on on a single folder - see the paid version for unlimited use.

In this release your cloud is hosted by Google: you must have a Google account and register for private storage.  Storage is currently free within reasonable limits, however Google requires that a credit card be on file for purchase of additional use.  See http://code.google.com/apis/storage/docs/signup.html for the full story - and to register.

Once CloudSync is connected to Google storage, use its file system browser to mark folders/directories for synchronization up, down, or bi-laterally.  You can synchronize automatically when content changes, periodically, or on-demand.  See http://davidcheney.wordpress.com/cloudsync-for-android for details, limitations, and support.

Have you ever copied music or other media onto your phone only to find that you cannot play it?  Scan Media runs the MediaScanner Service so that new media will be known to Android’s MediaStore - where apps can then find and play it.

Scan Media launches a scan of "external storage" - typically your sdcard.

Juke! Speech Driven Music Box (v. 0.8.19)

Juke! is a speech driven music player for Android.

With an interface inspired by the iconic 1946 Wurlitzer 1015 by designer Paul Fuller, Juke! brings retro back.

But this app is positively newfangled: simply touch the Juke! logo and say the name of an artist, album, or track.

Juke is also Google voice action enabled: at a Google voice search say "listen to [artist/song/album]".

Halts play automatically during phone calls (requires permission to read phone state).

The display is not configured for tablets, sorry.

Droid Incredible puts music in non-standard storage; Juke! does not support the Incredible at this time.
