SwissNames is the most extensive and most detailed compilation of Swiss toponymy data. SwissNames contains all the names given on the National Mapping (NM) series from 1:25 000 to 1:500 000 scale and comprises more than 190,000 georeferenced entries.

This plugin makes the SwissNames database available offline for name search.

Outdoor Atlas is thought to be the companion for all your outdoor activities. It supports you offroad where classical street maps and navigation are of no help.

With the built-in GPS, Outdoor Atlas always shows you your actual position on detailed topographic maps together with appropriate coordinates. The maps are downloaded once on request and stored locally to be used when no GSM connection is available. Currently, following maps are provided:

✔ OpenCycleMap
✔ OpenPisteMap

Additional professional maps can be bought as In-App products. Currently available:

✔ swisstopo (official topographic maps of Switzerland incl. hiking trails)
✔ North America Maps (myTopo maps, installable as plugin)

✔ Spain (IDEE maps, installable as plugin)

✔ SwissNames (toponymy database containing all names from the Swiss topographic maps).

This is a free app, but has ads on the map display. If you like to use an ad-free version, then buy the option 'ad-free version' in the app's In-App shop.

Swiss Public Transport extends the app Outdoor Atlas with the possibility to display all 30'000 stations of the Swiss public transport on your map.
Moreover, it allows you to search stations by its name and display the current timetable.

SwissMeteo is plugin of the app Outdoor Atlas. SwissMeteo allows access to SwissMetNet, MeteoSchweiz' weather station network. These stations collect hourly at over 125 locations in Switzerland the current weather conditions. SwissMeteo shows you the station locations on your map and allows to query their current weather data.

Moreover, to have a visual impression of the current weather, webcams at over 1'300 locations in Switzerland can be displayed.

Additionaly, up-to-date snow conditions of most Swiss ski resorts is available.

Please note:
SwissMeteo requires an existing installation of the free app Outdoor Atlas to work. Moreover, snow information are unavailable during summer due to obvious reason.
